furniture shopping and results!

Jake and I have been going furniture shopping lots and it has finally paid off! Wahoo! We were in need of some items since the move and here is what we got!

 2 awesome bar stools for the kitchen!

1 awesome metal stag head to go above the bed.....maybe that would be to scary.....well find him a nice place for him to rest.

 Large desk for both Jake and I's computers so we can work right by each other :) I am really excited about this change! It will be so nice! I like to share with Jake :)

2 matching computer chairs

1 metal dresser for Jake to store his clothes in!

We are both so happy we finally found some things that we loved and dont have to wait 4-6 weeks for them to be ordered/delivered! They come in less than a week! Oh so awesome! I am so excited to see how they look in our home! Wahoo!

Herbie

During the move, the turtles were one of the last things we moved. They dont like change that much, so we wanted it to look like home when they moved in to our new place. Every time I hold the turtles I cant believe how big they are getting! I remember when all of the turtles used to fit on one of my hands. Here is a picture of me and Herbie! Oh I LOVE my Herbie. He is so dang cute! He always brings a big smile to my face. 

Here is Herbie again. I always love to pet the turtles head. They love a good head massage. I do to.

This picture is for a trip down memory lane. Here are the turtles in the same container in the picture above on the left. Now only two of them will fit inside that container. Wow. Jake and I have had the turtles for over 2 years now! Can you believe that? Jake and I have 4, two year olds :)

DC: Smithsonian Museum of Natural History

Next to the zoo, the Smithsonian Natural History Museum is my favorite in DC! I love all the Smithsonian Natural History museums! They are AMAZING!

Giant squid. These are one of Jakes all time favorite animals!

I headed straight to see the dinosaurs right when I got to the museum! I love dinos!

I would be so scared swimming next to this hippo...

I went and saw and IMAX movie on coral. It was fun.

This is such a neat museum! I wish I lived by it so I could go more often!
