Do you all remember the Kermit Song Rainbow Connection? That is the first thing I thought of when I saw this wall. When I was a little kid, I loved Kermit, and I loved the song Rainbow Connection. I used to sing that song over and over and dance around my room. Then when I was older and my all time favorite band at the time Weezer came out with their version of Rainbow Connection, I loved the song once again over and over. Thinking about Kermit makes me excited for the new Muppets movie coming out soon!

Happy Memorial Day! Wahoo! Anyone doing anything fun?! I still have not cleaned the house and need to do that! I seem to sadly always put house cleaning off...I hope to hit up a neighborhood bbq today and eat some burgers and hot dogs! 

This pink watch I have on today is one of my all time favorite watches. Not only do I love the little hearts on it and its made by the designer the inspired me to love fashion and that fashion should be fun (Betsey Johnson), but my mom got this watch for me. When she came to pick me up from some classes at fashion school in NYC my mom was so proud of me for getting a bit better than my stick figure drawings I used to draw, she surprised me with a sweet treat! I love my mom.

Loafers and Rain Coats

Its been rainy here off and on the past couple days. The sun will shine, and then rain come out! Its been fun and a good excuse to wear layers. The rain has also been making everything so green and beautiful out!

Today I am wearing a new Kate Spade bag I picked up and my favorite loafers. I originally got the loafers because my dad has the same pair. They quickly became a go to pair of shoes for me. Every time I wear them they remind me of my sweet dad.  Jake is wearing his favorite Rag and Bone jacket. It is my favorite jacket he owns! I love the attention to detail on the coat and all the fun bells and whistles. The inside has the most beautiful seams a coat could have :) And the waxed material is perfect for some rainy sprinkles out!

Violet, you're turning violet

Last week Jake and I got to go to a fun event at Gap. I had been feeling so sick all day (I have been having weird illnesses again...random), So it was nice to get out of the house for the evening and go out to eat with Jake, and have some fun at Gap! I love anytime when I go to a social situation, being in that kind of environment makes me feel instantly happy and I forget I was even feeling sick :) This Anthropologie shirt dress was perfect for this evening's occasion because it was a baggy, loose dress that didn't feel constricting and was comfy to wear for the night! Exactly what I needed :) Jake is wearing a Zara double collar blazer he recently got when we were in Vegas! I love this jacket! Online I saw it in white too! I kind of want him to get that one as well! Something neat about a double collar jacket.. :)

Heres a picture with my friend Tana who put on the event! She is amazing! She really is a person who I admire. I love her hard work ethic, getting everyone involved and always being so kind and happy.

After the event, Jake and I walked around the mall 'till it closed. I had no idea there were dinosaur fossils! It was a fun find! I love dinos!
