On Monday we went to Disneyland all day and ended the night at Mickey's Halloween Party! Whoop, whoop!  If you haven't noticed already, Jake and I are a little Disneyland obsessed and we go anytime we can!

Out of all the holidays, Halloween is my favorite and so Disneyland in the fall time is a must!  Everything from the darling halloween decorated treats, to the amazing Mickey pumpkin decor is so fun!

I wore this geometric print fit and flare Donna Morgan dress Disneyland.  I loved how it was super comfy and easy to move in.  For some reason I love to wear dresses to Disneyland.  I like my legs to be free so I can run around and feel like a little kid again :)

Jake and I spent the day together at Disneyland by ourselves.  We enjoyed looking at the shops, trying out new treats and eats and going on rides.  At Mickey's Halloween Party they had some specialty foods that they do not always have on menus.

We tried a jalepeno fried chicken burger on a potato bun at Carnation Cafe.  No joke, it was off the charts AMAZING!  We also got fried pickles, which they always have on the appetizers of their menu, and they were fantastic.  When you bite into the pickle it didn't spill juice on you, and had the perfect amount of crunch to them.  If I made a Disneyland top 10 foods you must try, I would put the fried pickles on them!

Hello from California!  

Jake and I did some beach hoping and stopped at some spots we have been wanting to hit up.  We were able to be joined by my darling mom and we had so much fun spending the day with her!  She is always such great company and a blast to be around.

Our first stop of the day was to Honey and Butter for Macarons!  No joke... the best macarons and the cutest!  I have been to France several times and been to way to many french bakeries, and Honey and Butter Macarons are my favorite to this day!  The thing I love most about Honey and Butter is each day they are open, they have a theme and make different macaron characters.  

Our next stop was to Dana Point Harbor for lunch.  We sat and looked at the boats and ate smoothies and grilled cheese :)  There is a cute bagel/smoothie shop down by the boats and for some reason there grilled cheese hits the spot every time!  Its on a sour dough bread with avocado and tomatoes, and extra delicious.

Next, we headed to Victoria Beach to check out Pirate Tower.  Its funny because in pictures it looks pretty big, but in real life it was smaller.  Its this fun abandoned tower on the beach.  Its also a great beach with small waves and tons of fun little nooks to explore, so it would be super fun with kids.

Our last stop was to Treasure Island next to the Montage.  Wow! The grounds on the Montage are gorgeous!  You walk through the grounds as you get down to the beach where Treasure Island is.  There is lots of rock formations and a neat arch which is a fun picture spot there.  The waves are also small on this beach so it could be fun for kids!  You can also have your dogs on the beach, which is kinda fun because most beaches I have gone to in California, you can't bring your dog.

Happy Friday! Wahoo, its time for the weekend ;)  

Jake and I made some serious Donkey Kong plans this weekend!  We bought Donkey Kong Tropic Freeze last year and played it a ton till the game got the best of us and we couldn't get any further on it.  A year later, we are ready to bust the game out and win it!  We watched American Ninja Warrior and it helped us get pumped, and we know now we can beat the game :)  Well see how it goes...

Jake and I recently just stocked up on some fall clothes from Levis and we have been so excited to wear them.  The weird weather here is finally taking a chill pill and getting cooler outside!  Which is awesome!  We are ready for layers and hot chocolate every night!  

I got these denim overalls from Levis and thought they would be perfect to go pumpkin picking! Jake knew he wanted to sport some plaid! Every year since Jake and I have lived in our home, we love to go pick out a ton of pumpkins to go by our front door.  For some reason seeing the bright orange pumpkins by our door always puts a smile on our faces!

Hello! Hope you all have been having a great week thus far!  Jake and I took these pictures on an date we had last weekend.  We went out for french fries and did some grocery store shopping :) We are really romantic like that.. heheh

Since we knew we would be out and about, we made sure to wear some of our favorite Cole Haan shoes since they are super comfy!  We love that they are neat looking sneakers with sleek designs, and perfect for all day wear!

The weather has been so odd here lately.  Some days its chilly out, and others days its blazing hot outside!  Its been nice though to have a few more warm days before it gets chilly out!

We have found we enjoy riding our bikes around the neighborhood and fun trails.  Jake and I both enjoy road-biking, and when we ride our cruisers I forget how much harder they are to ride!  I really like riding our cruiser bikes though since they are convenient with kick stands and baskets, you can wear whatever you want and the seats are super cushy!

We both wore our Cole Haan sneakers on our bike ride!  We always like to have some element of matching in our outfits, and shoes are always a fun one to match!

Happy Friday!  Can you believe the weekend is here yet?! This week has just flown by!  

Jake is super excited this weekend to go preview the new BMW line.  I never knew Jake was a car guy, but I guess he is when it comes to luxury cars.  A boy can dream right?! :)  Do you have any fun plans this weekend?  

Awhile ago I was looking for the perfect blouse to go with some culottes but I didn't want to spend a ton of  money on the top, but wanted it to look nice at the same time.  Jake and I were wandering around Nordstrom and found the perfect pink top from Wayf!  I have worn the top quite a bit lately and decided to check out the brand to see if there were more items  I would like.  

I was so excited when I saw this Wayf faux leather skirt and that it was on sale for $39. I knew I had to get it!  I was so happy that it was a deep forest green, it is the perfect skirt for for fall time :)

Jake is wearing his favorite chukkas from Cole Haan.  They are from there Zerogrand line.  Jake has a few pair of Cole Haan shoes and loves them all, but his Zerogrands are always his go to when he knows its going to be a long day of walking or running around.  There is something super special about the shoes that make you feel like you are walking on clouds!
