Jake and I have driven though Page, Arizona many times but have never taken the time to stop at Horseshoe Bend.  After going, we will stop here every time we drive by now!  It doesn't take very long to stop and its quick and easy to get to.

When we pulled up, we saw all these cars parked on the side of the road, so we parked on the side of the road assuming the parking lot was full.  I think everyone else was on the same wave length as us and parked on the side of the road and none of us realized there was a giant parking lot and the entire lot was empty! hehe Oh well, it added a fun little walk to the destination.

Once you get past the parking lot there is about a 1/2 mile walk to get to the bend.  When you get to the bend it is stunning.  The water is a cool teal color and looks so pretty against the colorful rock. 

When we were at Horseshoe Bend it was full of tons of people visiting and from all over!  I didn't hear anyone else there speaking English beside us!  The Bend is super big, so there was enough room for everyone to get a great view and get the pictures they wanted.

If you ever get the chance to go visit, its worth the pit stop :)
