Dont let me..I miss my long hair.  Lizzies sister Sarah, put on the cutest bridal shower for her at Pizzeria 712! The flowers, decor, food, everything was perfection!

Kelsei and Trevins Wedding

Wednesday, May 16, 2012

Friday afternoon, I got to get Tuna ready for a wedding! I was combing his hair and on accident, the comb got stuck under his eyebrow and pulled it out! (the right one...or in the pic, the left one). It was tragic, but luckily I got his eyebrow back in place. Its a bit bigger now, but I have always been a fan of promintate eyebrows. Then we got Tunas bow tie on, and went and picked up Jake from work. Off to the wedding in Salt Lake.
The wedding was for Jakes cousin Trevin and his new wife Kelsei. She is now the third Kelsey Harris in Jakes family line. I think thats pretty neat. I am Kelsey Harris the Second. The wedding was at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. It was a beautiful wedding.
Waiting outside the temple for the bride and groom to come out!
Here they are!
I LOVE all the pretty flowers out and about on the temple grounds! They do such a great job making temple ground areas so beautiful year around.
Uncle Doug, Aunt Christi, Jake and I and Skyler :) Most of these pictures are from my wonderful Aunt Christi! Thank you for letting me use these great pics! She is so wonderful at documenting moments!
After the wedding was a dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the Wasatch room!
Trevins family lives in Texas, and boy do they have some serious Texas PRIDE! They did some super cute touches to the dinner party room that made it so much fun. These Armadillo Droppings were one of them! They are camel and nuts and soo good! I want to order some to eat more!!
They had the Texas flag and State flowers on display! They got each family a bottle of Rudys barbecue sauce which is their favorite! Jake and I cant wait to try it! I thought that was so sweet and cute they did that for everyone ;)
Buffet style dinner! Yum!
My plate...and I ate it all! And some dessert. Texas sheet cake dessert of course :) After we all ate, there was dancing and fun! Jake and I had to sadly leave before sparklers and to watch the bride and groom take a carriage ride off, but we had a fantastic time!
Beautiful view for the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

Alisa and Nicks wedding and reception :)

Monday, April 2, 2012

Friday, Jake and I got to drive up to Idaho Falls to go to my long time college friend Alisa Dunn! We left around 8am to get the afternoon wedding! I love afternoon weddings! Alisa and I met my first year of college on a study abroad trip to Central America. You know she is a good friend when she didn't care that half my hair was bright purple! She has been such a wonderful friend since! We actually are official pen pals and write each other letters in the mail! Its fun!
Alisa and Nick got married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple! I was so honored I got to see them get married! It was a beautiful wedding. I felt so special to be there.
Putting on the corsage. I was so glad the rain cleared up so they could get some pictures together, and with everyone outside!

After the wedding, we got to go to the lunchin! It was wonderful, and we all pigged out tons because it was at Chuckaramma! It was perfect because Alisa and Nick have a ton of nieces and nephews! Jake and I could not stop eating the scones with cinnamon butter! Oh wow, they are the best there! We also made 2 new friends that we sat by and had so much fun getting to know them.
The reception was later that night in Rexburg Idaho. They did a great job decorating and making their reception their own.  Nick is a real cowboy, and Alisa a cute cowgirl, so they made the reception western and cute. I loved all the big barrels.
Corn bread cupcakes! So cute!
Right before the reception, we went to go see the new Rexburg LDS Temple. When I went to school there they had just announced that they were going to build a temple.
After seeing the temple, we headed to my cousin Mandys when she got off work. It was fun to chat with her and her husband David! They are having a baby boy, and due in only 2 months! So exciting! They are going to be wonderful parents! Jake and I loved the short time we got to visit with them before we headed to the reception!

It was a wonderful day! I loved all of it! After the reception we drove home to get ready for General Conference on Saturday morning.

S&S Wedding

Sunday, March 11, 2012

Saturday night Jake and I got to go to my past roomate Sarahs wedding reception! Oh she looked so stunning and happy! I was so glad! So, the first night I met Sarah, I was moving into our new ghettolicous house that we named "the candy shop" because we spray painted grapphiti all over the house (it was going to be bull dozed soon, so we lived it up) and the first night I moved in, I was the only one there, until everyone came back from summer. Sarah randomly had stopped by the house, and helped me unpack everything, and we had a sleep over the first time we met! This is how rad this girl is! She dropped all her plans to come help me, and keep me company in our scary house! She's the best!
The wedding reception was at The Tower at the U. It was really cool, and the view was so pretty! I had so much fun seeing Sarahs family and talking to them!
After the reception, Jake and I ended up stopping at Anthropologie and ended up finding this super cute bedspread set! Of course we had to get it! It was tooo cute to pass up! We are moving in April, so we are waiting to put the new bed set on when we get to our new place! We also got some super cute new dishes I am so excited about! I LOVE that Jake is into home decor and picks out great things!
Ah I love it! I cant wait to have a cozy new bedspread set!
When we got home, we started putting some stuff in boxes to get ready to move. We found this book Jake wrote about spiders! It was to cute! My favorite part of this "about the author" is "When he was little he loved to draw." That cracks me up. Because he is in 5th grade, he is not little anymore ;) to cute! I am sure I didnt feel little either though when I was in 5th grade.
Tuna and Puss in Boots reading Jakes book on spiders.
Then at midnight, I made some homemade oreos for our Sunday school class the next day! I couldn't help eating several before going to bed, and "springing forward" my clock for daylight savings! Ah, any time change forward kills me. I am always a zombie for weeks trying to get used to it!
Sunday was a great day! I was cleaning out the cupboards, and I found a laffy taffy I hide! Sparkle cherry are my all time favorite, and I will buy big boxes of them, and hide them around the house, so when I find one........its pure bliss! This laffy taffy in itself made for the best Sunday ever! In the evening, Jake and I watched a few movies, snuggled and ate to many grilled cheese. Perfect day!
