Air Boat Rides and Alligators + VLOG

Our favorite thing we got to do while we were visiting Orlando was go on an airboat ride!  It might of been our favorite because of the great company we were with, but it was so much fun!  We got to go on the boat ride with our Aunt Christi, Uncle Doug, Skylar and Devyn!  We had the entire air boat for our group and that made it so awesome!  Our captains name was Becky, and she was a great tour guide!

When we went out on the airboat, I hoped we would see some alligators and had no idea we would see so many!!!   Alligators and Great White Sharks are my favorite animals, so seeing so many alligators I was in heaven!

The boat ride was so windy, which was perfect because the sun was coming down!  It made for some crazy hair doos, but sometimes thats the fun of an adventure is getting your hair messy!

One of my favorite parts was tour was when Captain Becky took the airboat on land! We got to get out and walk around, and that was super rad!

I am so glad Jake took lots of video while we were out on the air boat because pictures do not do it justice!  Heres a little vlog from our windy adventure!!!

Jake and I recently went on a trip to Orlando!  One pit stop we knew we wanted to make was to go to Universal Studios Orlando so we could visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!  We took a red eye flight and drove straight to the park after our flight!  We knew that might make for a tuff day, but it ended up working out great and we felt pretty good running around all day!

We knew there was so much to do and see while at the Universal Parks so we decided to just focus on the Harry Potter parts so we could make sure we got that all in!  The Harry Potter worlds are split between the Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios.  I would highly recommend getting a hopper pass so you can enjoy both parks and take the Hogwarts Express between the parks!

Our favorite part of our Harry Potter experience was visiting Ollivanders and buying wands.  Jake got Professor Snapes and I got "he who must not be named" wand!  We got the interactive wands so we could go around to the window displays and cast spells!  That was a fun and cute part of the park we really enjoyed!  The interactive wands are $8 more than the regular wands, but they are super fun to use around the park, its worth paying the little extra for them!

We thought Universal did an amazing job on the Harry Potter World.  We were bummed alot of the places that looked like shops were just displays, but it felt super authentic to the movie and really was magical in there!  We can't wait to go back someday! 

Now that the Harry Potter World opened in California, we are thinking we need to make a trip to that Universal Studios soon :)  Have you had a chance to visit the Wizarding World of Harry potter?  What did you think?!

Picnics, Bike Rides and Rain Storms

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend!  

Jake and I spent our weekend cleaning the house getting ready for guests to come into town!  We did slip in a little time to go on a picnic and take Jake's new Columbia Bike out for a spin.  He recently got it in the mail and he has been wanting to take it out for a ride!

Jake really loves solid cruiser bikes and has been looking for the perfect one.  The 1952 Retro Cruiser was just the type of bike Jake was looking for.  The vintage look and solid steel frame feel makes this bike a blast from the past!  We loved all the cute details and accents that gave it that vintage feel.  The color was on point too!  Love that royal blue with brown leather seat and handle grips.  You can find this exact bike at Target, Toys R Us and Amazon.

Columbia Bicycles has a great american history going back to pre-automobile times!  The brand revival is now and it's so fun to be able to buy new bikes built on classic models.  Watch this cute video link to learn all about the legacy!  We love supporting brands that have been around for years and have a story to tell!
