After we had a visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, we headed out on the road for Kelowna.  This drive from Vancouver to Kelowna was our favorite part of the trip!  We have never had a drive that was so gorgeous the entire time!  Every window we looked out, the views were breath taking!

It was raining off and on.  It created the perfect driving ambience. It was so stunning outside that instead of taking 4 hours to get to Kelowna, it took us 7 hours because we had so much fun going on random little hikes and stopping to take pictures.

If you are ever taking a trip to Canada, get a rental car and go for a drive!  No joke, it will be amazing!  It is so gorgeous all around Canada and there are hidden gems to see every where you go!  Just google little cities you know you will be passing by on your drive and you will be surprised at all the amazing things there are to do.  On our drive back to Vancouver we googled the small towns we would be in and found some really cool tunnels and waterfalls!  Can't wait to share more with you all soon!

A FEW TIPS FOR A FUN ROAD TRIP:
-Bring a water bottle.  I always have a water bottle with me where ever we go!  It has come in handy so many times!
-Pack Treats! Make sure to bring some heathy snacks so you don't feel sick when you get to you destination!
-Have comfy footwear that can get dirty.  If you are like us and like to explore, make sure to have shoes that you don't mind getting dirty if you want to go out and walk around.
-Bring your chargers.  I get a lot of work done in the car on road trips and make sure I have a car charger for my laptop and phone that work in the car.
-Bring a cable for your phone to listen to music and create a great road trip playlist.  I have a few playlists on my phone that are always a go-to on road trips.  I keep them on my phone all the time so we always have some great tunes to listen too.
-Google before hand things to do in the small towns you will passing through to see if there is anywhere you want to stop!
-Keep an umbrella in the car.  You never know what the weather could be like for the day :)
-Keep a camera in the front seat on the passenger side.  (So the passenger can take photos :) If you are in the back country, you may never know what you may see!  I have been so glad we had a camera out and ready to go for animal sightings!

If you are taking your own car on a road trip, and not a rental car, make sure your car is in good shape to leave for an adventure.  We also like to have a triple AAA card with us, and sleeping bags in the car incase the weather ever turns bad or we get tired on the road!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Starry night over lake okanagan
