We recently returned from a fun trip to Jackson Hole and then visiting the National Parks nearby! We had a lot of questions about where we stayed and what it was like, so I thought I would put it all in one blog post with a little overview!
We got to stay at the stunning Four Seasons Jackson Hole Resort! We are big fans of resorts because that entails there are things to do at the Resort and in the surrounding areas!
I am a huge fan of room service, especially breakfast! It's the most important meal of the day right?! I love being able to relax in my robe, get ready for the day and have a tasty meal delivered! Jake got oatmeal and fruit and I got an omelet with a side of bacon! We had such a stunning view from our balcony, we spent quite a bit of time looking at the views outside!
Jake is a big water bug, so anytime there is water, we'll be there. The resort had a really awesome heated pool and three jacuzzis. I always love going swimming but coming out of the water and being cold is not my favorite. The pool had a heater box with warm towels and places to hang your robe so when you got out of the pool you would be warm and cozy! Coolest invention ever! Since there was always a warm towel for you when you got out of the water, I wanted to go to the pool every night we were there!
We could see this cool water fountain out of our bedroom window. We loved seeing this fountain every morning when we woke up, so we knew we needed to go take a closer look at it!
Four Seasons Jackson Hole has a neat partnership where guests can check out a complimentary Mercedes Benz for the day. They even cover gas! When we heard about this, we knew we wanted to reserve a car for our stay! We were so glad we did because the car was a blast to take around!
Driving a luxury car around the parks was a big highlight of our trip! We loved the heated seats (it snowed one day!), the size of the car and how the back seats laid down super easy in the floor of the car. We brought sack lunches out with us and ended up eating out of the back of the car so we could enjoy the views.
We took the loop around Grand Teton National Park which was a nice three-four hour drive. It was so gorgeous out with all the rain and mist it ended up taking us 5 hours to make the loop because we wanted to stop everywhere and take photos of the scenery! The entrance to the park is literally two minutes from the FSJackson Hole which was very convenient.
On the way back from the Grand Teton National Park, the loop passes through Jackson Hole Town Center! We stopped in town to walk around the shops and eat dinner there! It is the cutest little town. If you book a trip, make sure to check out what the town has going on that week because they are always having fun events! While we were there, they had a huge antler auction going that was neat to check out!
This year the National Park Service is celebrating their 100th birthday! If you have ever thought about visiting the parks, this is the year to do it! Go get outdoors and help them celebrate their Centennial 2016 celebration!
We took Mr. Buffalo's and these cool hot pot photos in Yellowstone! Yellowstone is only a two-hour drive from the Resort and makes for a fun day trip! We hit up a few spots in the park and really enjoyed the gorgeous drive to and from the park!
There were a few spots to eat at the Resort! The pictures above are from breakfast at the Westbank Grill. I got the Teton Burrito and Jake got the Banana Waffles with some added chocolate chips! While we were at brunch we sat by a super neat couple who were visiting from Dubai. They were so kind and we loved learning some neat things about life in the Middle East! Our favorite thing about traveling is the people you meet, and the neat stories that come with them!
We also ate dinner outside at the Ascent Lounge. We stopped by for drinks a few times too. At the Ascent lounge they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. We loved sitting by the fire, so we sat outside every time we went there. We got the Buffalo Burger and a tasty flat bread pizza! We came back for dessert and got a tasty cowboy cookie!
Everywhere we ate, the service was fantastic, we never felt rushed and got to take our time, and best of all.... we LOVED the food!
The interior feel to the Jackson Hole Resort was rustic and cozy. There are a lot of fun printed rugs, unique chandeliers, and unique chairs! We loved how they pulled in inspiration for the resort decor from nature and animals around the area.
One of our favorite things we got to do at the Resort was visit the spa for pedicures! We loved how you could change into robes for your appointment. It made for the complete experience! If you make an appointment at the spa, try and get there a little early, or stay after to spend some time in the steam room or jacuzzis!
Thank you for following along with us on our adventures! It means the world to us :) If you ever get a chance to stay at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole, you won't regret it! Here is a little vlog from our adventures there that show more in depth around our room, the resort and all the fun things we got to do there! I have a lot more Jackson Hole and Yellowstone posts and videos coming soon so make sure to stay tuned to join in the adventure!
