Vancouver City Night Life

Vancouver is super neat and had a lot of things that made it very special!  We had 2 nights in Vancouver and it was not enough time to see everything the city had to offer!  It has been awhile since we have been there, but I have had this blog post I have been needing to post from our time there!

Here is a little vlog from our adventures in Vancouver, plus the coolest Steam Clock ever!  No batteries, no electricity...the clock works on pure steam!  Make sure to check it out and let us know what you think!

A few tips to have a great time in the city:
-Make sure you bring your Umbrella!  Even being bundled up with a warm Parka or Windbreaker, we were so glad to have and umbrella to help keep us dry.  The Nordstrom there even had umbrella bags as you enter the store so water doesn't get everywhere!
-Get off to start the day early.  We got out the door of the hotel by nine and everywhere was empty!  No joke, it felt like we had the city to ourselves!  We went to the Vancouver Lookout and were the only ones there the entire hour we were there.  When we got out of the lookout, everywhere was still silent.  By 11 the streets got crowded and people were out and about.
-Download apps in advance to help you navigate the area.
-Book a room in the area you want to spend your time.
-Be flexible.  If you see something cool, go check it out!  Sometimes a spontaneous adventure can make for the best memories!
-Wear good Walking Shoes! Plan on walking around instead of taking a car around.  Sometimes you can get more of a feel of a place from walking around!
-Make a pit stop in Stanley Park!  It is huge and beautiful! Even if it is pouring rain out, it is worth the stop!  After spending the morning walking around, we drove to Stanley Park so we could get around the entire park.  If you pay for parking in Stanley Park for the day, you can drive around to another spot and use the same parking receipt! After we took our car back to the hotel to enjoy the evening walking around the city.
