Fall is still here and I am so glad it is still hanging on! The weather here has been super random these past few weeks with cold rainy days, and then tons of sun shine and warm weather! It makes for a fun time though, and lots of checking to see what the weather is going to be like!
I recently got this fun lace dress from Eliza J and was going to save wearing it till Christmas because its the perfect Christmas dress, but then I thought, I love it so much....I should wear it now and several times before Christmas :) I love when I can find a dress that has a good fit, a cute design, and can be worn at diffrent times of the year!

Happy Friday! Do you have any fun Halloween plans for the weekend!?! We are having a Witches Night Out at our place this weekend that I am super excited about! I have not decided what I am going to wear yet, but I got a super cute Minnie Mouse Witch hat at Disneyland a few weeks ago when I was there, so I might wear that with whatever outfit I can find in my closet!
Jake and I saw these cute ghost tops on ASOS and knew we could not pass them up! We are all about cute clothes that look normal, but when you look close up, have really fun details to them! We are excited to mix up these tops for next year's Halloween as well!

Halloween is right around the corner! We have a lot of fun festive activities we are doing this week that we are so excited to do and check off our October Bucket List! We feel super lucky to live in a community that likes to celebrate all occasions and that there are always so many fun activities to do year around!
Since Halloween is less that a week away, we have been wearing festive clothing everyday to celebrate! I was cracking up when I saw this shirt online at Asos and wanted it right away! It was only $21 so that's a steal in my book! I also like having a few items like this shirt lying around during the holidays incase we have a party or something to attend and I don't feel like dressing up in a costume!

Today we are so excited to share with you a home project we have been working on with Rustica Hardware! Rustica Hardware is your go-to place to find all your needs for original and cool barn doors! There are many things we loved about the company, but our favorite was being able to order custom sized doors for our office!
The space where we wanted our barn doors was such an odd sized doorway and proportions, we were so glad they were able to make the doors and hardware to the sizes we needed. The cool thing about Rustica (besides being able to customize your door size, door finish, track size and hardware finish) is that they have a great design and manufacturing team that can bring your ideas to life. They really have a cool mentality: if you can dream it, they can build it!
We worked with Kristy to figure out what doors we wanted to get. We really liked working with a designer and would highly recommend it if you are going the custom door route. We liked being able to talk through measurements, hardware and options with someone that knew about the products and had seen our space in photos! If you don't have the option to go into the Rustica Hardware showroom, they have a customer service number where someone can talk you through the measurements, order process, etc.
If you get the chance to visit the show room, do it! It's great to see all the options in person, plus you may be able to sneak a peek at some of the doors being made! There is a little playground and fun area for kids to look around too if you have your kiddos with ya! There is also a great selection of darling home decor, a neat knob/handle section and other fun goodies!
With the Bypass system we are able to slide both doors to one side of the wall but only take up the size of one door. With this area being tight for space this was a great option for us! There are other track systems available which is great so you can find what will work for your home.
Since we went with the custom doors, it took about 9 weeks for the doors to get made and delivered. If you get standard doors, shipping is estimated around 2-3 weeks. If you live in the US, shipping is free for orders over $50. If you are out of the US they still do ship there but shipping is not included. When we got the doors, we were so excited to open them up!
Once you get your barn doors in the mail, next is the install process. Now you have the option to install the doors yourself or hirer a contractor to hang them for you. The doors come with instructions to install them, so if you are the do-it-yourself-type, go for it! They also have options to get the doors predrilled but you have to be very particular with the measurements, or just drill them yourself on location. Jake was awesome and did the installation for our barn doors. It took him a good full weekend to get up and paint a new header, put up the header, install the hardware and flush mounts, but it was worth it! I would imagine a flat track or something similar would be a bit quicker to install and get hung up since there is not as much hardware.
Now that our barn doors are up, we can't imagine the space with out them. They added the perfect statement to the entry way and feel like the doors were made for the house! We are so happy with how the project turned out and are hoping to add another barn door to our home in the near future :)

We made an October bucket list and of course pumpkin carving was on it! It was super rainy and windy out, so we decided it was the perfect day to stay indoors and get our pumpkin carving on! We both could not decide what to do on our pumpkins so we both went with pumpkin faces. We are big fans of doing holiday activities all month long! We have been trying to watch a few diffrent Halloween movies every week and it has been getting us so excited for Halloween! Do you have any Halloween Traditions you like to do?
P.S The dress I am wearing is only $27, super comfy and comes in several colors! I got it in a few colors and have been wearing them all the time! It is seriously the perfect house dress to be comfy, but still dressed and ready to get things done!

Alright....please tell me you have seen the Disney TV Show Gravity Falls?!?! Well, it is one of our all time favorite shows because we love all the characters! They love to explore, go on adventures, have fun, and love their family and friends, which are all things Jake and I aspire to do! When Jake and I were trying to figure out what we wanted to wear to Mickeys Halloween Party, we thought Disney Bounding as Mabel and Dipper Pines was a must! Tuna wanted to be Grunkle Stan from the show too, so all our outfits worked out together :)
Mabel has a pet pig named Waddles she is obsessed with and takes everywhere! As a kid, I LOVED pigs and wanted one so bad! (and still do!) I had a pig collection of stuffed animal pigs, porcelain pigs, and all thing pigs, so when Mabel got a pet pig on the TV show, I knew her and I would be BFF's!
When I was online shopping for items for my outfit, I saw this darling Patricia Chang Pig Wristlet and knew it was a must! It even had jewel kisses on it, which is perfect for Mabel because she gives her pet pig Waddles kisses all the time! I am all about a cute handbag for an outfit, and can't wait to wear this piggy wristlet again! I love when designers have fun with fashion and create super cute products!
We found most of the rest of the items for our outfits from our closets. It's surprising when you dig through your closet what you can find to put together a costume/outfit for a Disney Bounding Experience!

We were able to spend the weekend with our family in California! We knew that we would want to spend time at the beach together so we thought it would be fun to make it into a little party! We have been trying to be more active in our everyday life and thought it would be fun to get our family included in on that too! We wanted our family to be able to enjoy a fun hike, and time at the beach so we brought supplies to make a little grab and go display with goodies for everyone to put in their backpack for the hike!
We brought most of the goodies with us from home, found decorations from around the house and got the fresh food and Advil at Walmart. We found by having a few basics like some fun buckets and trays you can bring the party with you wherever you go! I wished I had brought some burlap with us to wrap around the buckets, but I guess when you are traveling, sometimes the simplicity is better!
When we go out on our adventures we make sure to pack with us Advil to throw in our bags. We have found we really love the EZ open caps! I actually already have a bit arthritis in my wrists and Jake has weak knees, and found these lids make it much easier to get into! (so make sure to have them hidden from little kiddos!) I find them super helpful on a hike or when out and about so if you need a little relief, you can quickly grab what you need so you don't have to slow down! We know sometimes its not always feasible to take medicine or something for pain, but we like having a product around we can count on for relief when its needed. I really like that Advil has been around for years and a product I have grown up with, and now have it in our home.

Since today is a day to celebrate, get out side, go enjoy the outdoors and take along with you some Advil to keep on hand incase you need it!
