Jake and I both grew up with our parents sharing Holiday Cards with loved ones, and that is one tradition we both have wanted to carry on in our family! We've found it's a great way to say hello to those we don't get to see often enough but want them to know we are thinking about them.  We love how sending holiday cards is an easy way for us to stay in touch and share a little life update with them!  My cute dad recently passed away and so the tradition of carrying on Christmas Cards for our family is even more important to me now than ever.

I have so many memories growing up of all my sisters and fam getting fun matching outfits for Christmas Pictures!  One of my favorites was getting our photo taken at our family cabin! We all dressed in red and green dresses and after photos we went out for burgers and shakes at one of our favorite places! I remember being in our formal outfits at the diner and thought it was so fun!

The past few years we have picked to go with Tiny Prints for our Christmas Cards because we have loved how they have turned out!  There were lots of fun holiday card options like foil stamped (to add a luxurious look), laser cut, ornament cards and more but we wanted to try something new that we hadn't done for our cards this year! We went with the Enchanting Script Black Holiday Glitter Cards.

When we got the cards in the mail I was so impressed with the glitter how it has dimension to it and the glitter does not rub off! DREAMY!  With Tiny Prints you can get the back of your card printed with text and pictures on it for no additonal cost!  This year we couldn't miss putting a little something about my dad on the back, a message to our loved ones, and a cute picture!  Being able to personalize the back of our cards really brought some meaning for us to our Christmas cards!  We can't wait to send them out and let our friends and family know we are thinking of them this season!

For our envelopes we went with the Holly Frost in white and a cute red and white striped envelope liners.  We loved that they were so festive and went with our winter vibe for the Christmas photo we used!  There were other fun envelopes to pick from but we couldn't pass up the cute holly and flowers.

This year on Tiny Prints you can get free recipient addressing on your custom envelopes!  I loved the great font options and how they really took their Christmas Card game up a notch!   It was also nice to get our cards addressed so now all we have to do is stuff them and add a cute personalized postage stamp and they are good to go! With the personalized postage there are fun options to add your picture, fun text and more!  It's the perfect last touch to any holiday card!

Fall is still here and I am so glad it is still hanging on!  The weather here has been super random these past few weeks with cold rainy days, and then tons of sun shine and warm weather!  It makes for a fun time though, and lots of checking to see what the weather is going to be like!

I recently got this fun lace dress from Eliza J and was going to save wearing it till Christmas because its the perfect Christmas dress, but then I thought, I love it so much....I should wear it now and several times before Christmas :)  I love when I can find a dress that has a good fit, a cute design, and can be worn at diffrent times of the year!

One of our favorite things we got to do in Vancouver was visit Grouse Mountain.  We originally were planning on spending the day here and when it ended up that we were going to there in the evening, we were both hesitant because we didn't know if there would be anything to do up on the resort in the evenings.

Boy were we wrong....! There was sledding, ice skating, a fire pit, light walk, a cool lodge, movie theater, sleigh ride, snow snowing, snowboarding and so much more!  We had three hours and tried to fit as much as we could in that time!  We hope to go back someday and spend the day snowboarding and end it was some cozy time in the lodge and some ice skating!

The sky-ride tickets up to the resort were pretty expensive, which made us hesitant to go up with only a short amount of time, but it was so worth it!  If you have a few hours, its worth it!  The sky ride takes you up to the base which is super high...like you are above the clouds high!  Then on the base you can take ski lifts or hang out and do everything else that is around the lodge.

 A bit ago, it was a very rainy day out, and we were hoping that it would start snowing!  We lucked out....it dumped snow and turned into an awesome snow day!  It was a perfect first snow of the year!

I bought this Kate Spade puffy coat a few months ago, and have been saving it for the perfect snow day!  It was so warm and cozy, and was perfect for a cold snowy day!  This coat is now on major sale and also come in black! Jake is wearing one of his favorite coats from Jcrew.  He actually loves this coat so much he has it in two colors.  Its a perfect overcoat to go over a sweater or blazer.

We had such a great time playing in the snow!  Sadly, it got dark pretty quick before we had a chance to go outside so we didn't have time to make a snowman!  We are thinking we need to go on drive to go to a snowy destination to have a snowball fight, make a snowman and some snow angels!  What is one of your favorite things to do during the winter time?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This is our last post from our time at Four Seasons Las Vegas.  When we stayed at the gorgeous hotel we got to spend some time in one of the Presidential Suites.  The Presidential Suite was fully equipped with fun seating areas, a gorgeous closet, office area, 2 bathrooms, and  a dining table for 8. 

We ordered brunch and ate it at the dining table.  We had so much fun sitting at a big table just the two of us!  We would each sit and eat half our meal, and then stand up and switch spots, and finish each others meals.  It was a great time!

Four Seasons Las Vegas

Right before Christmas, Jake and I had the fun opportunity to visit the Four Seasons Las Vegas Hotel.  This hotel is a hidden gem on the strip!  It is located at the beginning of the strip by the Famous Las Vegas Sign.  We took these pictures at the front entrance of the hotel next to the valet.

With the amazing location of the hotel, the strip views from the rooms are breath-taking!  Jake and I love Las Vegas and tend to visit here quite a bit, and have never stayed at a place with view like this!  It was so fun to see the entire strip at night-time and see all the neon lights.   We loved the lights so much at night that we never shut the blinds in our room and feel asleep to the city lights.

The hotel was festive for the upcoming Christmas occasion and had a unique gingerbread display and lovely decorated tree.  We had to take a picture by them because it was so pretty tucked in the spiral stair case.

I got this Xscape beaded dress a few months ago and had been saving it for the perfect occasion...like a trip to Vegas.  I might wear this dress on New Years too, I loved it so much!  I have a few beaded dresses and was very impressed with the quality of this one.  It wasn't too heavy and after an entire evening of wearing the dress and having it packed in and out of my suit case, none of the beads came loose.
