Outwear Wishlist with Andrew Marc

Fall is here and with winter right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about winter essentials!  Living in a state where it snows often and is chilly out, we have found the importance of quality outerwear and are so excited to share with you all today a brand we love, Andrew Marc.  Jake and I purchased a few Andrew Marc jackets two years ago and they are still go-to jackets for us every time winter comes around!  One thing we love about the brand is there unique designs, and high quality materials that will keep you stylish all Fall and Winter!  The brand has everything from rain coats, vests, leather jackets to down coats for the very coldest of cold days!  We picked out some of our very favorites from the newest collection to share with you all today!

Ready for Fall - A His and Her Wishlist

FOR HER

I know we still have another month or so of summer, but colder weather and layers is just around the corner!!! Fall is the perfect time to start mixing up your wardrobe by adding onto your current summer looks.  A neutral Fall Dress is the perfect place to start since we're going to layer it with fun accessories! I've been in love with these types of leather Backpacks, they just look so dang cute!  Don't forget to get a matching leather Belt. For the Earrings, I decided to style something dangly and fun with soft colors. Keeping up with the dangling objects, I have to say that I love Shopbop's selection of fun Key Fobs.  You can put them on your actual keys or I like clipping them onto my purse. Finish it off with some casual Sneakers so your feet don't get cold and some bold Sunglasses to keep from squinting in those cooler sunsets.

FOR HIM

Fall time for Jake is all about those woodland colors!  He started with a clean pair of Sneakers, nothing too bold.  A Briefcase is a classy alternative to a backpack and much more "mature" for commuting to and from work while still being able to carry his laptop and Headphones comfortably.  The Watch he picked out has a leather band since that matches nicely with his rustic feel. He grabbed a soft canvas Ball Cap to keep his hair dry from the occasional rains and some mirror Aviator Sunnies for good measure.  Jake is all about mixing up his Wallets too, even though it's only seen on occasion, the subtle craftsmanship always stands out in a good way.

Are you guys so excited for Christmas soon?  It is coming up real quick!  Here is some outfit ideas if you have some holiday parties coming up!  

We love parties because it's a perfect time to dress up and go out on a date together!  With lots of parties and staying within the holiday color pallet, we are always on the look out for a way to change up our looks.

Anyone else excited its spring time!? Jake and I had fun this past weekend shopping for lots of spring floral items for segment we got to do on our local ABC station on Monday.  It inspired this weeks wish list!  We love seeing all the fun pastel colors in store for this season! Today we are excited to share with you a super neat store we recently found online that sells new and used Rolex Watches called Swiss-Wrist.com.  We had so much fun searching the site and finding our perfect dream Rolex watch.  I went with a classic two-tone gold with a white face, and Jake picked out a black leather band.  I actual had no idea that Rolex watches ever came with out a metal band and loved that there is a leather band selection.  It also cuts down on the cost of the watch!

I grew up seeing my parents both wear a Rolex watch every day.  I loved to see how functional they are and how they go with everything!  I have always wanted to get a Rolex watch of my own someday and I think buying a used Rolex would be worth the investment!

Can you believe we are in the middle of November already?!  This year has just flown by! I cant believe Christmas is right around the corner!  Jake and I have already got most of our Christmas shopping done, which is nice but have a little left to do!  We keep wanting to buy more with all the amazing sales going on!  I cant wait for all the amazing black friday sales coming next week!

Today we made a wish list of some fun items that we have had our eye that are all under $100.  Jake has really been wanting a fun man tote, and I have been wanting some more fun statement jewelry!  After a post we did a few weeks ago featuring a fun necklace from Chloe + Isabel, I have been wanting to stock up on some more goodies from there!

Todays my wishlist is inspired from this awesome Darth Vador tee from Forward Elyse!  I loved the fun print on it, and how it is an oversized cozy tee!  I wanted to pair the shirt with some fun items that would stand out, so I looked to Roamans for the perfect red booties and fun gold statement ring!  I love wearing all black and having a fun bright shoe to bring the outfit alive.

Jake decided to go all black with his wish list!  With different textures of materials he thought it would create a fun all black look.  He picked out all his items off of East Dane.  It has recently been his go to place to shop.

I was recently going through old photos and found a fun snowy photo shoot Jake and I did in last year and made me get excited for fall/ winter to come!  Todays wish lists are inspired by snowy wishes!

How rad are those ear muffs? I need to pick me up a pair of those for this winter!  I have found living in a cold state, I have to mentally prepare, and shop before the seasons come or the items I want will be sold out!  I know it won't snow for a few months...hopefully, but I want to make sure I buy early this year to be prepared when the snow hits!  I am excited for it to start getting a little colder around here and throw on some fun layers!

Happy Wednesday! Jake and I made these wish lists yesterday while the rain was pounding on the windows.  So of course all we could think about was fun rainy day attire!  

Rain is my all time favorite! I love bundling up and going outside for an adventure, or staying inside and watching movies.  There is something so magical about rain to me!  I also love the sound thunder!  I like to count seconds between thunder and guess how close it is.

Can you believe school is right around the corner?!  Jake and I are both no longer in school or have kids getting ready for school, but whenever I go to Target and see all the cute back packs and lunch boxes I always get excited for school season!  Well, after buying some fun school supplies, it made me think about my first day of school each year and how I always would be so excited to pick out my outfit!  If Jake and I were going to school soon, this is what we picked out!

I am so excited for summer is here! Wahoo for road trips and time to enjoy the out doors and travel!  Any time I think of road trips I think of the outdoors and camping, so today I made a fun little Outdoor Summer Essentials list!  A few weeks ago travel essentials list got me thinking, so todays theme is all about the Great Outdoors.  Yes, there are a lot of things missing from this list like water bottles, plates, camping cups, matches, blow up mattresses, ext. but here are a few basics...  and a few extras that caught my eye when searching the web!

Each year when summer comes around, I feel I am never prepared for summer in clothing department, so I thought Jake and I needed to think about it early this year and get a head start! Plus I find when I am in a hurry to find something the item I like is either sold out, or I cant find what I want!  I love summer shoes for a fun chance to show of some new nail polish or a fresh tan (if I can ever make it outside.. :) There are some shoes that Jake and I both really liked and are hoping to buy a few to help us both kick start summer off soon!

On a side note, I Jake and I have been wanting to sneak away to Moab this summer and do some hiking and explore the outdoors!  I have never been much of a camper, but it has always been something I would like to do more of, so I want to start planning a trip! Can you believe summer is right around the corner?! I feel like with having winter last so long, summer pops right up! The weather gets so nice here and its dreamy to be outside!

Jake really wants to get this fun portable recored player on his list because it would be so fun to take on picnics this summer! It even comes in lots of fun colors!  We are hoping to spend more time outside this year and enjoy the outdoors!
