Jake and I are huge fans of a desert landscape!  Something so fun about cacti in all the unique shapes and sizes they come in!  We got to go for a desert walk during sunset and had fun exploring and wandering around.

Isn't this the cutest lobby ever!?  We took these pictures back on our trip to Arizona at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale Troon North.  We loved all the fun patterns and color combinations of the furniture mixed with the adobe style structure.  It was such a happy space that had so many places to sit and relax.

Every morning we liked to sit and hang out in the lobby to read the morning paper while enjoying some muffins!  At the resort in the morning there was coffee and small baked goods that were complementary to guests for the early risers.  It was a great way to start the day!

When I travel I am always looking for clothing that packs really well and can get folded in a suitcase. I got this Johnston and Murphy silk dress and wore it on our drive back home.  It's so easy to move in and the fabric felt so soft to wear all day.  I know it will be a comfy and cute dress I will want to wear and layer up for winter time!

We took these pictures at the beautiful outdoor pool at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale at Troon North. The pool is huge!  There are 3 separate pools in the area.  A kiddie pool, family pool, and an adult only pool.  Each area has cabanas, lots of chairs and umbrellas!

We got to spend most of last Saturday at the pool!  It was so warm outside we were so glad we were able to hide under our cabana for most of the day!  I worked on the computer and Jake took a nap!  When Jake woke up from his nap we ordered some fun pineapple drinks!  They were so tasty and very fun to drink from a cute pineapple!  While we were hanging out at the pool, the staff brought around sample treats, waters, and cold hand towels.

There were so many people out at the pool, but since the areas were so large I didn't feel crowded at all!  We had a great day in the sun and enjoyed the great outdoors!  My favorite was the desert scenery that you could see from around the pool.  Such a beautiful place to swim!

Jake and I are wearing swimsuits from Kortni Jeane!  They always have fun and bright swimsuits with lots of fun prints! I saw they are coming out with some new swimsuits soon that look darling! I can't wait to check them out when they come out!

These were our other dinner date night outfits that we wore at our stay at the Four Seasons Scottsdale Resort at Troon North.  We really enjoyed all our food we ate at the Resort.  Between the in-room casita dining and the two restaurants, we loved all the food we tried!  There were so many things on the menus we didn't get a chance to try and hope to go back again someday to try more delicious foods!  I am working on a food post to share with you all soon from all the fun foods we got to try!

One day when we were at the resort we got to go to the Spa and get massages.  Jake and I have not gotten massages in years and we had so much fun!  The spa was comfortable and relaxing and the staff was so kind and accommodating!  We felt like we were really able to have a luxury experience and the massages were fantastic!

Jake is wearing his boots again that he recently got from Johnston and Murphy.  This time he styled them with some new denim jeans he picked up from All Saints.  Jake is a big fan of All Saints denim.   He purchased a pair over 4 years ago and they are still in great condition and he wears them on a weekly basis!  He sure felt like he got his money worth out of those jeans!

Happy Wednesday!

I recently got this yellow floral Eliza J shift dress and have been so excited to wear it!  I have always been a big fan of yellow and love when I get wear it!  I recently discovered Eliza J Dresses when I was searching for some fun dinner date dresses on Nordstrom.  I loved all the fun colors and designs of the dresses!  They also have a lot of top/skirt separates that are super cute!  When I got the items in the mail from Eliza J, I was super impressed with the high-quality fabrics and fit of the clothing.  I have a few more items from them that I can't wait to share with you in the next few weeks!

Jake is wearing a Ludlow Suit from Jcrew.  You know Jake and his Jcrew... he is obsessed :) He is always a fan of wearing items from there because the fit off the rack is spot on.   Jake's pocket square is from Weekend Casual.  If you are ever looking for some fun menswear accessories, they have a great selection, great quality, but most of all... a great price point!

Jake and I wore these date night looks at The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North.  We have been loving our time at the Resort!  It is so fun to wake up in the mornings and look out the window to the beautiful desert scenery!  The thing we have been loving most about the resort is the amazing landscaping.  Everywhere you look there is a stunning desert view!

Horse Ride in the Sonoran Desert

When Jake and I checked in at the Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North, we went to the concierge desk and asked what kind of fun activities there were to do at the Resort or around the area.  One thing they recommended was going horse back riding.  Right away, Jake and I knew we wanted to go ride some horses!  Neither of us had ridden a horse in years!

The resort was so helpful and called Cave Creek Outfitters to reserve us spots for horseback riding.  It made it super easy for us so we could have more time to enjoy our vacation, instead of planning out activities to do!  Horseback riding was also a great price at $50 a person for an hour ride! The horses were so kind and were very well trained! Jake's horses name was Matthew, and my horse's name was Dolly Parton.  

On our horse ride, we rode through the Sonoran Desert.  Jake and I loved seeing all the saguaro cactus!  There were so many with lots of fun arms!  We went on our ride at 8 in the morning so luckily it wasn't too hot outside! 

I have not worn my cowboy boots since I bought them in high school and was glad I got to bust them out again!  Jake was so excited to wear his bandana/scarf!  We had fun pretending we were cowboys! I guess I would of been a cowgirl :)

Jake and I are currently in Arizona on a fun trip at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North!  The location is stunning and we have been loving all the desert scenery!

The resort is having lots of fun activities going on during the next few weeks that are perfect for anyone of all ages!  There are special menu items, ice cream sundae bar,  weekend movie at the pool, Carnival event, spa upgrades options and so much more!

If you have never had an opportunity to visit Scottsdale, Arizona, staying at the Four Seasons Troon North is a great start!  From the moment you drive onto the property, the entire experience is fantastic!  The employees are all so kind and helpful.  We really felt the staff has gone above and beyond to make our stay go amazing and feel right at home!  They really work as a team and create a great environment for you to sit back and enjoy yourself!

Jake and I wore these outfits on our first night at the resort to dinner.  We went to one of the restaurants on site at the Scottsdale Four Seasons called Talavera.  All the food we have experienced at Troon North have been so exceptional, but the meal at Talavera was one to remember for sure! Not to mention the view for the restaurant is stunning!  We loved that there was lovely outdoor and indoor seating options!

I recently got this dress from Adrianna Papell and was so excited to wear it on our dinner date! I always love a good pencil dress, and especially one that is easy to match and pair with a lot of combinations!  If you have never had a chance to wear a dress from Adrianna Papell, make sure to check them out!  The materials they use are so lush and they have a dress for any occasion!

Jake recently got his boots from Johnston and Murphy new fall line of shoes!  He was so excited when they came in the mail, he couldn't wait to wear them!  He was so surprised how nicely they paired with slacks or denim!  I think they will be a great staple shoe for him this upcoming season!
