We were recently able to celebrate Jake's birthday!  We got to go snowboarding, eat cupcakes and a few yummy meals ;)  Jake is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life and was so grateful we got to celebrate his birthday together.

It has begun to feel like spring around here, and then it DUMPED snow all day on Jakes Birthday!  We love winter, so it was a fun surprise!  It was actually snowing and so windy out, all the resorts closed down and shut the lifts.  Luckily around 2pm the bottom bunny lift opened up, so we got to do a few runs down the bunny hill before the resort closed for the day.

We tried a new place out in Park City to eat at called Wasatch Bagel and Grill, no joke....best food ever!  We loved everything we tried!  If you get a chance to try it, go!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a good one :)

One of our favorite things to do each winter is go tubing at Solider Hollow!  They have an awesome pull rope that takes you to the top of the sledding hills!

We love joining tubes and heading down together!  You can get going so fast it is out of control and so much fun!  The staff is so awesome and there was one guy at the top who would run us down the start of the hill for an extra boost.  Afterwards, we got to hang out in the lodge and drink some hot chocolate to warm up.  It really was the best.

If you ever get a chance to go, make sure to get your tickets in advance online, print out a waiver and fill it out, so when you get there you can get your pass and start tubing right away!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful time!

This weekend we made a little pit stop to visit the Sundance Film Festival!  It was opening weekend so we couldn't miss out on going for all the fun hustle and bustle!  Sundance is always super crazy opening weekend, but there is something so fun about the ambience that you can't beat!

We saw this fun train on the side of the road so we decided to stop and check it out! We enjoyed climbing up on the train and seeing if there was anything inside.  There wasn't anything in the trains but they were fun to check out!

There was a light snow out which made us super happy!  We are those people who are always crossing their fingers and dancing around in hopes that it dumps snow every day!  There is something so magical and romantic about snow!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful week!

Have you ever been to the Midway Ice Castles?  We try to make it there every year, and were so glad we did this year because they were the best they have ever been!  Each year the ice castles are different with the weather and all that jazz!

This year there were lots of tall walk ways and fun places to explore!  We are wanting to go back sometime in the evening because they light up the castles with different colored lights!  We made a little video for our YouTube channel from our time there!  If you like what you see, subscribe to make sure you don't miss out on any videos!

Jake and I are big fans of snow.  We have been wanting to live it up these winter months and get in some fun snow activities!  Jake came home with some sleds last weekend so we had to take them out for spin.

We always love going out and playing in the snow but our hands and feet get cold which sometimes cut short our outdoor time.  This time we came prepared with hot chocolate, smores, hand warmers, wool socks, beanies, etc and it made all the difference.

We drove around for awhile to try and find some spots that had a lot of snow!  We both got some new Sorel boots for Christmas and we were so glad we had them because it was 29 degrees out when we were out!  We both wore thick boot socks and were surprised how warm our feet stayed!  We had so much fun sledding we were running around for a few hours.

After we did sledding, we got things set up for smores.  I like to have everything you need set up for smores like the marshmallows out, graham crackers and chocolate broken up, drinks ready to go, etc.  It makes roasting smore so much more fun and easier when your marshmallow is up in flames.

We tried Sterno for our little campfire and we were surprised how great it worked!  The flame worked best for the marshmallows after the Sterno had been going for about 30 minutes.  When we were done with smores, it was also super easy to get the flame out.

If you have not noticed, we are a little obsessed with smores :)  This time for smores we tried chocolate graham crackers and Cookies and Cream Hershey bars!  No joke.... it was amazing! Try it asap and tell me if you liked it or not!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day and go do something fun!

Yesterday Jake and I spent our Sunday evening at the lovely Sundance Resort.  All the trees were changing colors and it was stunning!  They had a nice fire pit outside that we ate some treats by, while we looked around at all the trees.  It rained off and on so that was fun!  Rainy, overcast days are the best!

Fall fashion is one of our all-time favorite seasons to dress for!  It's so fun to start layering and mixing and matching pieces from our closets from different seasons.  This year we stocked up on a ton of fun Levi's clothing from their Fall 2015 collection.  Since it's been chilly outside all we have been wanting to wear is long sleeves, lots of plaid and neutrals and we are glad all our Levi's outfits fit the criteria!  Is there a place you love to shop for Fall Fashion?

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have an amazing week!

Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had a great long weekend!  We took these pictures back in July at Montage Deer Valley when we spent the 4th of July there.  Seeing these pictures makes us miss the Montage!  It is such a fun place to visit any time of the year!
