Mickey News! and The Great Salt Lake

Yesterday I got an email from Disney.com and it was a good one! They are coming out with some super cute and fun Mickey short films with all the old original Disney characters! Just like back in the good ol' days! I cant wait to see them all! There will be 19 shorts all together! If you didnt know...I am kinda obsessed with anything Disney, so this is great news! You can watch the first Mickey Short HERE!!! I would check it out if you have a few minutes! Its adorable! 

Anyways, I was so excited about Mickey and some little short films,  I had to share :)  And on to todays post! Recently Jake and I went out to The Great Salt Lake, and it was lovely! It was early evening, and so pretty out! It was quite and peacefully out, with random sounds of cars passing near by. Here are a few photos we took!

Tubing at Solider Hollow :)

Last week my mom came into town! OH MY, it was so much fun! I was so excited my mom was coming, in anticipation for weeks, I would walk by the guest bedroom and smile knowing she was going to be staying in that room soon! When my mom came we partied hard! We ate lots, went out and did lots of fun things and even went sledding at Solider Hollow in Midway! This was probably the highlight of the trip! It was such a nice day out, we ended up shoving our jackets in our tubes! It was the best! The snow was a little slushy, so you had to get a running start to make it all the way to the end of the runway! I do love the tow rope! Its nice because you dont have to walk up the sledding hill! Liberty Park and Video!!

Last weekend, Jake and I took a lovely walk around Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. It was stunning out! Sometimes, white/icy snow out can be so peaceful and beautiful! We had so much fun seeing all the cute ducks. A man came and had 10 loafs of bread and were feeding all the birds. It was perfect because we got to see all the ducks and birds walk around and eat, and be so cute! We talked to the man giving the duck birds, and he said he comes everyday. He must own a bread shop or bakery! Our favorite was watching the ducks slip and slide on the ice, so excited to get to the food. It was so cute :) Here are some pictures and a short we got from the afternoon with tons of fog in them! I tried to capture the moment in the video, and get some ducks slipin and slidin...tell me what you think :)

a walk around the cabin

One morning, while on the girls weekend away, we got to on a fun hike/walk around the cain! It was a perfect morning for a hike and lovely weather out. It was fun to enjoy the outdoors and some time with my sistas and mama! Here are some pictures I took from our walk!

We made it back :) It was a great walk in the beautiful outdoors!
