Faux Fur and Elbow Patches

OK! This is officially my favorite coat ever!!!! Right when I saw it I knew I had to own it? Do you ever have magical items like that?!

Funny story about these boots. 3 years ago when I met Jakes family for the first time, I had these boots on most of the week. One day we were out exploring Maryland and we found a cool brick pathway with a cement floor. It was a tight pathway, so Jake and I decided to take a picture with our legs across  one on each wall holding us up. My shoes were so slippery, I slid right to the ground and ouch it hurt! I had tights on so I thought I was fine till I saw my tights were not purple anymore on my knee. It was bloood red :) I remember the whole week, my knee being really pussy and gross and ruined all my tights with puss. Now I have a huge nasty scar on my knee, but it reminds me of the fun adventures I had the first time I got to meet Jakes fam!

Floral Print Pants and Star Wars

This seafoam top is currently my favorite! Do you ever find a favorite of something and buy it in a few colors? I sure do! Its bad, I will buy multiples of things I like, but I guess thats how you know you like it! This shirt is currently at Target in stores and online for only $22.99 and I LOVE it! It reminds me of the Jcrew button up blouses that I love but for a fraction of the price! Dont get me wrong, I LOVE the Jcrew shirts, and the quality is worth the price for sure, but sometimes its nice to feel like I got a deal! Thank you Target! This style is not always the most flattering, but its cozy, comfy and baggy...all the things I love in a blouse! I also LOVE Jakes StarWars shirt in this post! It is probably one of my favorite shirts of his that he owns! Thank you Disneyland!

Winter Zoo Attire with a Jaguar ATTACK!

When ever I go to a place like the zoo, or a museum, ext. I like to be comfy but still decent looking for pictures. Since the zoo is mostly outside (and its winter), I needed to have a comfy pair of sunnies, a warm coat, cozy shoes, gloves and clothes I could move in! Last Monday, Jake and I went to the zoo for his birthday! More zoo pictures coming tomorrow :)

It actually got nice enough, and sunny out that I got to take off my coat for some of our time at the zoo! It was wonderful! I remember when Jake surprised me this turtle cardigan awhile back with a love note saying how he thought I was such a good turtle mom. hehe

When Jake and I were exploring at the zoo we came upon this beautiful Jaguar. He was so awesome! He was jumping up on the glass growling and pouncing! He did it several times and would do a mean scary face and then do a cute little smile. I think he was having a good time! I think I would enjoy messing with people if I were an animal at the zoo to. Jake and I were laughing so hard when the Jaguar would pounce the glass because kids and moms would scream so loud! You could even see his breath on the glass! When we came and pounced at me I hope he was not offended by my faux fur coat! :)

I have never been to the zoo and seen an animal so excited to greet his visitors! A fun moment I will always remember! 

Our coats kinda matched. Hope he didn't mind. His is prettier :) More zoo pictures to come tomorrow!

Going Grunge

Does anyone else love to be cozy and wear grungy clothing?! I sure do! I even really like wearing mens clothes on a cozy day :) (jeans and sunnies). Dont get me wrong, I love to wear a dress and heels, but those are for certain occasions! I love an every day grunge look of old clothes, baggy wear, and all around cozy! Its funny because I feel like anytime I am a bit grungy or Jake is we are a newer version of the bad 90's :) The 90's were an interesting time with some really bad fashion, but I think some great cozy fashion and leather attire has come from it!
