Happy Friday!  Do you have any fun plans this weekend!?  I am so excited and have some high school friends in town and can't wait to see them!  Jake and I also have awesome weekend plans on working in the back yard! We also may squeeze in a quick road trip too!

Jake and I wore these outfits when we were at The Grand America Hotel when we went for treats at the La Bonnie Vie!  It is such a darling bakery that has delicious macarons, treats and gelato!  We got a plate of tasty chocolate covered strawberries to share!  They were so fresh and delicious!  We went back later for some macarons!  They are the best macarons we have found so far in Utah on all our treat adventures!  If you are ever by the Hotel, stopping in for the macarons is worth the trip!  Really though.. the macarons are that good!

Also, I can't get over this darling pink macaron cake!  The Grand America surprised us with that cake and drinks when we got to our hotel room.   It was such a kind gesture and ment the world to us!  I couldn't get over how sweet and thoughtful it was!  I loved that they picked out all our favorite things and put them on the macarons!  And they even took our logo and put it in chocolate!  I loved the creativity of the cake!  It was almost too pretty to eat... but of course we ate it all because we knew how delicious it would be!  And it did not disappoint!

We recently discovered a fantastic place to get denim called DSTLD and it is amazing!  I always prefer high waisted jeans, and these days they are hard to find that fit good and are skinny jeans!  DSTLD has womens high waisted skinny jeans in all kinds of denim colors and styles! I was in heaven!  Not to mention, they are dang comfortable!  I hardly ever wear pants, and I lately I can't stop wearing these ones!  Jake's pants are from DSTLD as well!  He needed a new pair of black jeans and couldn't beat the $85 price tag for great quality denim!

When we stayed at The Grand America Hotel, we were there for a week so we spent some time wandering around and trying to find new places there we had never seen!  We spotted this fountain hidden back in the hotel and were so excited about it!  It was a peaceful spot tucked away and had missed many times before!  I love how you can go to the same place over and over and if you look for it, you can find something new!

Today we have some new furniture that is being delivered!  We are so excited! We always spend our money on clothes instead of other things, and finally set aside some money to get some dressers, nightstands, new bedding and some other fun goodies!  Anyone else feel like saving money is the hardest thing ever?!

When Jake and I stayed at The Grand America Hotel we had a chance to check out their shops!  Jake and I both picked out our outfits from their men and women's boutiques!  They had a great selection of fun items for day or evening!  My favorite was thir awesome purse and sunglasses selection!  I was so obsessed with these Bottega Veneta Sunglasses and knew they were a must to bring home! I loved the hint of purple on them!

So...we have a super fun announcement! Tomorrow we are taking over the Reward Style @Liketoknow.it Instagram account!  We couldn't be more excited about it! On the Fourth of July we got to spend a little time at the Alpine Pool at the Montage Deer Valley Resort.  The pool is surrounded by so many green trees and the view is breathtaking!  We went to the pool closer to the evening and it was a little chilly outside!  I was so glad when we jumped in the pool and realized it was heated!  It made for a perfect time at the pool!

I recently got this fun American Flag inspired swimsuit from Beverly Swimwear.  I was so excited to wear it for the Fourth since I knew it would be the perfect day of all days to show my American pride :)  I do also think its a fun swimsuit in general for summer!  Something about flags, seems like summer time to me!

When we were at the pool we spent some time hanging out on the lounge chairs and ordering some pool side food!  I got the mahi mahi tacos and Jake got a burger straight off the grill!  It was all so delicious!

Hope you all had an amazing Fourth of July!  

Jake and I got to spend Independence Day at one of our all time favorite Resorts, the Montage in Deer Valley!  We love that there is always so much to do at this resort, but around the holidays they have so many fun things lined up for the guests!  They had so many fun events going on during the week of the Fourth and we can't wait to share more with you all about it this week!

On the Fourth of July Jake and I woke up bright and early and headed to the Montage Spa!  We spent time in the sauna and steam rooms, and it was so dreamy!  We could have spent all day in there, but we knew we wanted to head to some of the Fourth of July events!  We went back to our room, got ready and got dressed in our red, white and blue!

Montage has complementary drivers 24 hours a day to take you down and back to Main Street in Park City.  We were so glad they did have car service because we wanted to go down to the parade but knew we didn't want to be looking for a parking spot with all the crowds! 

Park City at the Fourth of July is so fun!  We loved watching the cute parade! The city does such a darling job!  After the parade we walked around Main Street and called a car service from the Montage to come pick us up!

When we got back to the resort, we headed to the pool where they were having a bbq!  I got the fish tacos for lunch and Jake got a burger hot off the grill!  Sometimes I feel food can be a hit or miss at some places but EVERYTHING we have eaten at the Montage, we have loved!

We swam in the pool for a few hours.  It is such a stunning pool and even heated! There is lots of seating around to lay out and relax.  My favorite part though was the view!  The Montage is nestled between the trees and is a gorgeous place to be year around!

In the evening we ate dinner at Burgers and Bourbon, a restaurant at the Montage.  Jake and I split the Wagu Beef Nachos!  The beef is so tender and delicious, and all the toppings.... it's heaven!  Seriously, the nachos are worth the drive from any location!

After dinner we went to s'more time!  When we are staying at the Montage we look forward to s'more time and will not miss it!  It is our favorite!  They have the best variety of handmade marshmallows that toast to perfection!

After s'mores we were going to head down to the big firework event in Park City, but we decided to hang out back at the resort.  We put our swimsuits on again and headed to the hot tub!  When we were in the hot tub it started pouring rain!  It was so much fun to be in the warm water and the cold water coming down!  We had so much fun we sat in the hot tub getting drenched by the rain for an hour or so.  

We were already sopping wet, so we bundled up in towels and sat by one of the fires outside!  It was so fun to be by the fire and get drenched by the rain!  After we got too cold, we headed back to our room, put on our pjs, turned on the fire and got cozy in bed.  We played on our Nintendo 3DS's till we fell asleep!  It was a great Fourth of July and one I will always remember since we got drenched in the rain at one of our favorite places :)

We took these pictures last time we got to vacation in Park City, Utah!  We saw these pretty trees and couldn't help but want to stop and take some pictures!

Jake and I are always on the look out for fantastic seasonal shoes, and we both feel like we found the perfect ones!  I recently picked up these blush pink heels from Dune London (now on sale)!  They are the perfect heel height to be able to wear them all day long!  I wore these babies out grocery shopping, to the mall and then out to dinner with Jake and my feet felt great all day!  They also are the perfect neutral color to pair up nicely with a lot of different colors/outfits.

Jake's sneakers are also from Dune London!  He loved that they weren't your average slip on sneaker and had a really cool print laser'd into the leather.  He said that they are comfy too :)

Happy July!!!  Can't believe half the year has already flown by!

We took these pictures outside at gorgeous The Grand America Hotel gardens. The courtyard is located right in the middle of the hotel.  They had just recently planted all the new flowers for the season and they were so beautiful and smelled amazing!  Anytime we go to Tea Time at The Grand I always request to sit by the window so I can see all the beautiful flowers.   

When we stayed at The Grand we knew we would want to take some photos in the gardens/courtyard and we are so glad we did!  The flowers are too pretty!  There are also some beautiful fountains too!  The Grand is having a fun summer vacation deal you can check out here.

I recently got these fun stripe culottes from Alice and Oliva!  I loved that they looked like a skirt with a nice pleat but really are pants!  They are so comfy and fun!  I have been trying not to wear them too much because I want to wear them all the time! I think I may have to bust them out again for the 4th of July this weekend!

Jake is wearing a short suit he got for our Disneyland Trip awhile back.  Its been the perfect summer suit with its neutral chambray color.  It is easy to pair lots of different ties/shirts/shoes with.  Jake didn't realize how much he would love having a short suit set and he is hoping to stock up on some more later this summer!
