When its kinda chilly out, we are always reaching for our Levi's denim jackets since they are the perfect layering item.  They are not to heavy and a nice light layer!

Last night Jake and I watched the most random movies.  One including FernGully.  Did you guys even watch that movie as a kid? I remember loving it, but I didn't remember much of any of it when we watched it!  We are thinking we need to get a head start on watching Christmas movies because before we know it, its going to be the new year!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have an awesome day!

Why hello there!  We took these pictures while wandering around France.  We had one day where we didn't have any plans and just wandered around the city!  We pretty much just ate our way though the city that day trying every chocolate and macaron place in site!

It was sad to put this post to together and think of all the things that happened in Paris this past weekend.  Paris is such an amazing place full of kindness, charm and sophistication.  Our prayers go out to everyone there and their families and friends at this time.

One of our favorite places we stopped was the Luxembourg Garden!  Wowie!  What a place!  There were so many places to sit, and enjoy being outside!  The gardens were huge and it was so lovely at fall time.  Sadly we got there towards night fall so we just sat and ate some hamburgers we picked up at Quick and walked around till they kicked us out.  We hope to get to go back there someday and walk around more!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day :)

HAPPY FRIDAY!  Whoop whoop!  Its finally the weekend!  We love the week days, but something about the weekends that are so dreamy!

Jake and I are always on the look out for neat places to shop for shoes.  We were looking for some fall shoes on Nordstrom.com and found a brand called Donald J. Pliner.  They had such a neat selection of mens and women's shoes we had to check out more.

Jake picked out these wingtip shoes.  He love the color play on them, and the unique see through burgundy soles.  He is excited to try them out with some different outfits.

I got these textured suede boots.  I loved how they had zippers on both sides.  I wore this outfit to Pinners Conference and kept getting stopped all day from people asking where I got my boots from.  I never knew a black pair of boots would be able to make such a statement!  Not to mention, they are also comfortable!  I am excited to be wearing them lots this upcoming winter.

Where are some of your favorite places to shop for boots?  Thank you for stopping by toady! Have a lovely weekend!

When we were in Paris we got the chance to spend a day at Disneyland!  Oh my, oh my!! We loved it soooo much!  We never thought we would love a place as much as Disneyland in California, but Paris sure came close!  It was so fun to see the differences between the two places and the fun additions to Disneyland Paris!

There were so many places to walk and explore in the park, we were in heaven!  Every where you went there was a trail so some new magical place to explore!  My favorite was by Pirates of the Caribbean!  There were awesome caves to explore with a giant skull and pirate boat you could walk on!  It was amazing!  They even had an Alice in Wonderland and Aladdin walk through areas!  It was so fun!  Jakes favorite was the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea submarine!  He grew up loving the ocean and giant squids, so seeing the submarine was a real treat for him!

A couple fun big differences that we saw. One was the Castle.  It was Sleeping Beauty's Castle again, but it was huge!  Walking though it was super neat, and there was even a dragon underneath the castle!  Outside the castle on the back,  Maleficent had a layer with these giant thorns came out the ground!

Another difference was Indiana Jones!  It was a super jerky rollercoaster ride that did a 360 loop and was outside!  That was a big difference!  On the Haunted Mansion ride or in Paris the "Phantom Manor" instead of going into an attic you would go underground where all the skeletons were!  We loved that fun change!

Some other changes were, Casey Juniors train was super fast and like a kids rollercoaster almost! Storybook Land didn't have a host that told you all about story land and the boat rows faced the front of the boat.  On the ride there was little mini people/action figures with the homes and there was unique ones like Bell from Beauty in the Beast, The Sword and the Stone, Emerald City, and the Cave of Wonders from Aladdin!

One interesting thing we noticed was no one was wearing Mickey ears!  They weren't even an option for sale at the stores, which was a bummer because we love Mickey Mouse Ears!  But.. they did have these awesome Mickey ear muffs and some super fun winter accessories, so that was awesome!  The stores also had a ton of cool Mickey Clothing items from high tops, to undies, to overalls!  I wanted to buy them all and be Mickey decked out!

When we went, we went the day before Halloween, and it was so fun to see all the decor!  I was so shocked how decked out the park was in pumpkin decor!  They really went all out!  Halloween is my favorite holiday of all time, so we felt so lucky to be there at that time!

Someday we hope to make the rounds to Disneyland Tokyo!  Its so fun to see all the differences and the little culture changes at each place!  What is your favorite Disneyland?

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a fantastic day!

Jake and I are big holiday fans!  We love to celebrate as long as we can.  Putting together this post has made us so excited for Christmas!
We have found with our schedules, it works better for us to prepare for Christmas early and have all the Christmas cards stamped and addressed, presents purchased and wrapped well before December so we can focus on doing fun holiday themed actives instead of stressing about things that need to get done.  We love to block out some time in November to take care of all these details.

We are big fans of homemade gifts or finding ways to add a personal touch to presents!  This year we got our presents for our families at TinyPrints!  We love that you can order everything online, and according to your time schedule!

This year we went with stationary gift sets for our loved ones.  There were lots of fun designs and colors to pick from, so we felt we were able to get sets that matched the personality of each family member.  We were so happy with how everything turned out!  Picking everything out online, it all looks so cute, but physically holding the items and seeing how they all came together is even more exciting!

On TinyPrints they had matching notebooks, note pads, envelopes, liners, notecards, address labels, and so much more to go with your stationary set.  I love matching things and I secretly want to keep everything we ordered all to myself :)  I think I am going to need to order myself a stationary set because they are so cute!  Nothing beats a hand written note on your own stationary!

To top it all off, we were able to get personalized gift wrap!  With so many members in our families, we decided we would get a different gift wrap for each side of the family.  We did one wrapping paper for my family, one wrapping paper for Jake's family and one wrapping paper for mine and Jake's presents to each other.  This way, when we run out the door to a family party, we know which gifts to grab!

For my family's wrapping paper we went with the Golden Lattice Personalized Wrapping Paper.  With that option, you could add your own pictures to the paper.  I went on my phone and found a picture of each family member and uploaded the pictures to TinyPrints.  I wanted all the pictures to be black and white, and was glad that I didn't need to edit the photos before I uploaded them to TinyPrints, but I could change the photos to be black and white in the program.  That made it so much easier!

For Jake's family we picked out the Merry Woodland Personalized Gift Wrap.  On that one we just added our last name to the wrapping paper.  It has a spot on it too where you can write the name of who the gift is supposed to go too.

For the wrapping paper that doesn't have a line where you can write who the gift is for, we got some stickers that say "To:_____ , From: Harris" on them!  I like being able to throw a sticker on a present and not have to worry about a tag falling off or getting lost under the Christmas tree!

P.S. All the wrapping paper is lined on the inside with square grids so you can make sure you are cutting straight lines so you can wrap your presents perfectly!

If you are looking for the perfect holiday touch to your presents this year, make sure to check out TinyPrints for all your paper needs!  We really have been happy with everything we have ordered from there, and can't wait to share them all with our families!

SPOILER ALERT to our family... these are your gifts this year :) Love you! hehe
