NYFW: Libertine SS14

Libertine was a show Jake and I really enjoyed because there was mens and women's fashion! It was fun to see a variety of looks and an entire collection for each men and women by Libertine. The outfits were really bold, and had loud prints which made a lot of clothing fun statement pieces.

I have been noticing more emerald items coming to stores. I feel emerald has been a hot color for a good chunk of time, but with winter coming up, I think it will be a great winter staple color to a wardrobe.  I like how emerald is brighter than forest green, and stands out a bit more, but can still be softened down with creams, tans and other colors.  Have you found any emerald items you have been loving?! What are they?

Chelsea: Part Two

Chelsea Market

One of Jakes and I's favorite things we got to do when we were in New York was explore Chelsea.  We loved going to Chelsea Market Place and seeing all the neat lighting, architecture and decor. Its everything we want our house to feel like and look like!  There were so many fun places to eat at the Market Place.  We tried a couple of lobster dishes! It was pretty fun! I found out though, I dont think I love a lobster roll as much as I thought I would. I think I prefer it hot and dipped in butter!  I wished we had bottomless stomachs so we could of tried all the fun foods Chelsea Market had to offer!  Well here is our part one of Chelsea, and more pictures to come soon!

I am a big fan of wearing skirts while out and about because I feel they are super comfortable, but I can still feel a little dressed up. Here are some skirts I have had my eye on lately! NYFW: Honor SS14

HONOR overall was my favorite show I got to go to at New York Fashion Week! I got to sit front row which made the show super dreamy for me, and all the clothing I LOVED! Everything from the music, twiggy tree background, really helped create an awesome vibe of the show! I felt all the clothing was fresh, fun, vibrant colors and great style.  I wanted one of everything off the runway to take home! I am so excited for when these items hit the stores!  I loved the neat collars, layering techniques, beautiful appliqué, it all was amazing! I loved that most of the models were wearing flats.  At the end of the runway, all the models came out skipping and barefoot. It was so much fun to watch and looked like the models had a blast! I attached a video I got at the end of the runway finale :) The pictures are not the best because they are all from my phone, but here they are.  What is your favorite look from this collection?!
