Disneyland Mint Julep
Disneyland Mint Julep

Every time myself and Jake got to Disneyland/ California Adventure, the entire car ride or flight we are talking about where we want to go eat first! Occasionally we try to mix it up, but we have found so many favorites we like to visit back often.  Here are some of our favorites we got on camera before we ate them! Some things never make it to the camera....we eat it to fast :)

My all time favorite drink in the Disneyland Park is at the Mint Julep Bar! It is a perfect refreshing drink for a reasonable price! I like the cute cherries and mint stem that come with it too!  They add an extra element of fanciness and cuteness to the drink.

Must eat places at Disneyland
Cars Land Cozy Cone Motel Chili Cone Queso

Jakes has two favorite drinks at the Disney California Parks.  One is at Disneyland by the new Princess Fantasy Faire at a food cart called Maurice's Treats.  They have a Boysen Apple Freeze, and its like an icey with a fun flavor and yummy whip cream.  It is kind of sweet and sour so its a fun drink to try! (I also like the chocolate twists at Maurice's Treat Stand!). Jakes other favorite drink is the one in my hand above! This drink comes from California Adventure in Cars Land at the Cozy Cone Motel.  The drink is a delicious Pomegranate drink.  I think its pretty tasty too, but the Chili Cone Queso in my hand is my number one food pick for California Adventure! I dream about this Chili Cone Queso and wish I could eat it daily!

Ghiradelli Brownie Sundae
Ghiradelli Brownie Sundae

If Jake had to pick a favorite food/treat at California Adventure, he would always pick a Ghiradelli Brownie Sundae for the Ghiradelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop! He loves these so much, we always have to get one for each day we are at the park! I never object :) The ice cream is a bit more on the pricey side, but it is well worth it and the sundae is big enough to split!

Disneyland Red Rocketts Pizza Port Pizza and Salad

Jake and I don't normally eat at Red Rocketts Pizza Port but we were feeling like pizza, so we thought we would go.  I am glad we did! We loved the JUMBO pepperonis on the pizza and the salad was fantastic!  I would go back to eat this again combo again!  I really loved the salad!  It was super fresh, tasty, and the candied almonds were super tasty!  If you are looking for a more healthy alternative choices at Disneyland, this restaurant had a lot of good looking salads!

Disneyland Bangled Barbecue Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Skewers
Disneyland Vegetable Skewers

My all time favorite food place at Disneyland that is super affordable, tasty, and I always feel healthy and amazing after I eat it is the Bangled Barbecue!  I mean does anything sound more tasty that bacon wrapped asparagus and fresh grilled veggies?! They also have a spicy beef skewer that is to die for! Its like little pieces of steak marinated in goodness! I could eat at the Bangled Barbecue for every meal if I wasn't constantly thinking about food and wanting to try new things at Disneyland!

Disneyland Dole Whip

No warm and sunny day at Disneyland is complete without a stop at the Tiki Juice Bar for a Dole Whip!  We always like to stop and get a refreshing dole whip and enjoy a show at the Tiki Room and listen to the birds sing!  The pineapple flavor of the yogurt with the juice of a pineapple is such a tasty combo!  Well worth the wait of the long lines that occasionally pile up at the Tiki Juice Bar!  We always make sure to go inside the Tiki Room waiting area and order our drinks from that side since the line is always shorter over there!

Minnie Mouse Carmel Apple

Every time we exit Main Street USA to go back to our car, we always stop at the shops and look at the fun toys and of course get a treat!  The first night we got cookies and chocolate covered turtles, and the second night we each picked out a carmel apple!  I picked out a Minnie Mouse Apple because it was so cute! Jake got the Apple Pie Mickey Apple, and I actually liked that one better!  They were both tasty but the Apple Pie one was amazing!

Disneyland Bakery Treats

Two of our favorite chocolate dipped treats from the Disneyland bakeries are the chocolate dipped fruit skewers which are a dole pineapple wedge dipped in dark chocolate! I mean, talk about heaven!  We ate a few to many of them this trip, but they were so good we could not stop eating them!  I also like to pick up the chocolate covered strawberries for a treat!  I guess we feel like since there is fruit under the chocolate we can eat at many as we want :)

Disneyland Churro

Jake and I are big Churro fans. We are even very picky about the churro stands we get our churro's from! haha for some reason we have it made up in our heads that some churro stands are more tastier than others! Our favorite churro stand is by the Haunted Mansion Hotel.  The churro's are always have that extra crunch and super tasty there!

Must eat places at Disneyland

At most of the food carts there is fresh fruit and little snack packs and I always like to pick up a pickle!  I LOVE pickles and could eat these all day long every day! But something about a Disneyland Pickle is even better than normal!

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
Disneyland Holly Jolly Bakery Cafe Tomato Basil Soup and Grilled Cheese

At the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe I have never had a meal that I didn't like!  We have tried several of the sandwiches/ soups and deserts and have loved them all!  This time we tried the Tomato Basil Soup with a Grilled Cheese Sandwich! We got this at 11 o'clock at night so it was nice to have a warm sandwich and soup when it was chilly out!  I loved the soup and dipping my sandwich into! It was fantastic!

Disneyland Matterhorn Macaroon

Every time at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe we have to pick up a Matterhorn Macaroon.  I don't know if there is any other location in Disneyland/ California Adventure that sells these Macaroons.  They taste like a coconut girls scout cookie but even better because it was made with Disney magic :) Seriously though...they are so amazing! Make sure to pick one up during the day because sometimes by night time they are sold out!

Disneyland Mickey Mouse Pretzel and Cheese
Mickey Mouse Pretzel

Whats a trip to Disneyland without a Mickey Pretzel and cheese!? They even got new cheese cups that are HUGE and make pretzel dipping even more fun! I only saw the huge cheese dipping cups over by the Thunder Mountain Railroad Pretzel Cart so I recommend getting a Mikey Mouse Pretzel over there! Its worth the extra walk for more cheese!

Well, now I am dreaming about Disneyland and want to go back and eat more fun food! I am sad we didn't have time to do any sit down restaurants, get a clam chowder bowl, corn dog, more treats....but I guess thats why I keep going back! :) What are some of your favorite Disney eats?

  2. That was so delightful to read and made me hungry and also missing the magic of Disney! You photograph everything so beautifully too! But next time you go, you have to try the sweet cream cheese pretzel. When my sister worked at DisneyWorld she made me try it and it is always the one thing I HAVE to have every time I go to a Disney Park! I know they have them at the snack shop called Refreshment Corner!

  4. OMG! All of your pictures show some tasty food, the majority I didn't even know they existed at the disney parks! Nevertheless, one that in my opinion is a total M U S T is the Turkey Leg. Each time I go I can't leave without eating one. I went last month and I made a line for like 40 minutes just to buy one. Quite delicious! Still.... can't wait to try the Chili Cone Queso hahaha. Ps. Love your blog!
