Happy Monday!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  We took these pictures back in July when we stayed at the Montage Resort in Deer Valley.  They have several study/library type areas that are so pretty and cozy to spend time in.  They are a great place to cuddle up by the fire and read a good book!

These are the last of our pictures from Bryce Canyon.  We had such a wonderful time exploring there that we hope to go back again someday soon!  It really is so unique with all the hoodoos and forest and a neat sight to see!

I got this fun polka dot overlay skirt from Eliza J.  They have so many amazing and fun items, I can't wait to see what they have in store for their fall line!  Jake is wearing one of his favorite pairs of black shoes from Johnston and Murphy!  He loves how they came with the option of blue laces and how the little bit of color adds so much personality to the shoes.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have an amazing weekend! Wahoo!

When it comes to doing my hair, I'm always looking for the tools that will help me get the best results the fastest.  My hair is something I do not like to spend a lot of time on if I don't have to.

When ghd asked if I would be interested in trying out some of their products I was super excited because I have heard great things about their styling tools!  I got the limited addition vintage pink 1" flat iron.  I love anything pink so, I think with a cute pink ghd flat iron, I will love doing my hair now!  Everything from the packaging, to opening the flat iron box was a great experience!  All the great online reviews about the 1" flat iron did not disappoint!

I loved that the flat iron came with a guard to cover the hot part of the flat iron and a carrying case.  Jake and I travel quite a bit and I am always doing my hair last, right before we head out the door.  I always had to wrap my previous flat iron in a towel to take with us.  I'm so excited I now have a super cute pink bag to cover my flat iron and that I can throw it in my suitcase without damaging any of my clothing!

One of the first things I noticed about the flat iron is that it heats up in no time!  It literally takes about 5 seconds to heat up.  A light goes on and it lets you know the flat iron is ready to be used!  The flat iron also has a safety measure built in that after 30 minutes if the flat iron is not being used it will go into sleep mode and turn off.  After I use my flat iron, I always try to make sure to turn it off and unplug it, but I love knowing that if I forget to do that, my flat iron with go into sleep mode and turn off for me!

I have been using my new vintage pink ghd flat iron for a few weeks now and have been loving it.  I have noticed that the flat iron is not as harsh on my hair as my previous one.  My hair after using the ghd flat iron feels smoother than my previous flat iron that left my hair feeling dry.  The ghd flat iron is also super light!  I have really weak wrists, which is one reason I don't love doing my hair and I love how light my new pink ghd flat iron is.  I can get through straightening all of my hair without my wrists being sore.

I have always been one to spend $200 plus on a high quality flat iron because I think they are product to invest in if you are using it daily.  ghd has a two-year manufacture's warranty on their flat irons so you can buy with confidence knowing what you buy will last.

After using the ghd 1" flat iron,  I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a new styling tool!  Plus the vintage pink and gold ghd flat iron is a limited edition, so I would jump on it before its gone :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a great day!

Thanks ghd for partnering in this post.  All opinions and thoughts are 100% my own.

Can't believe August is coming to a close so soon!  Each day this year has just been flying by way to quickly!

We took these pictures all along the Navajo Trail Loop at Bryce Canyon.  It is such a fun and easy trail!  Either way you go down the trail loop, there are some switch backs and then a good distance of a flat trail to walk on.  We walked through the trial at 8 am and found most of the way was shaded the entire time.  We were wandering around and taking our time on the trail and it took less than an hour to get through it all.

All throughout the trail you see tons of pine trees and lots of beautiful red rock.   Seeing all the tops of the hoodoos creates for some neat sights!

I recently got this Mister Zimi Montana Tina Dress and thought it would be the perfect easy, breezy outfit to bring to hike in.  It was super comfy and moved well, so it was fun to wander around in!  Jake and I were both wearing some of our new Palladium Boots and have fun both wearing navy ones :)  We love to match anytime we can!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have an amazing day!

Jake and I spent our weekend at the gorgeous Bryce Canyon in Utah.  Neither of us have had the chance to explore there before and were very excited to check it out.  We had seen pictures before, but seeing it all in person was worth the drive...even if Jake got a speeding ticket...

Bryce canyon is a mix of hoodoos (odd-shaped pillars of rock left standing from the forces of erosion) and a lush green forest mixed together!  Once you climb down into the hoodoos you can see so many trees and they are growing in the most random places!  All the red rock and forest green are such a fun mix of colors and it really creates for a beautiful space.  Jake and I were talking and we really have never seen a place like Bryce Canyon.  The mix of red rock and trees is very unique and fun!

We recently both stocked up on some new Palladium Boots and knew we needed to take them out for a test spin!  Anytime we get new Palladiums, there is something about them that makes us want to take the shoes out of the box and go on an adventure!

I got these Palladium sneaker heels and didn't  know how I would feel about them compared to my other Palladiums.  I am so glad I gave them a try because I LOVE THEM!  Not only do they have the comfiest insoles in them, they still have super grippy soles so they are easy to run around or even hike in.

We are excited to share more pictures with you all soon from our adventures at Bryce Canyon!  If you want to see more from our trip, I will posting more about it on Instagram.  Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great week!
