I have never posted any of Jake's and my engagement pictures back in the day when we took them, so I thought it would be fun to post some of them this week since it is our 3rd anniversary week :) We did two different outfits, so there will be one more post coming up later this week!

We used the top photo to send out for our wedding invitation.  At the time we didn't know our wedding colors were going to be mustard and gray, so it was fun to have matching engagement outfits to match our wedding.

Seeing my long hair with bangs makes me miss having straight across bangs! I might want to cut them again ;) Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Polka Dots and Kate Middleton

A few weeks ago Jake and I were in Vegas and got to go shopping! I found this cute polka dress at Topshop and was super excited about it! I was trying to find a link to this dress and could not find one anywhere! I was surprised because its new and it was no where to be found! Well I found out why! The beautiful Kate Middleton wore this dress recently and it sold out!! How cool is that?! I thought the article was kind of neat, so HERE is a link to it if you want to check it out and see how Kate wears the dress to! I guess thats kind of fun to think Kate Middleton and I have the same dress :) She wears it so well and looks adorable!

Last night I got to join a few ladies at Pizzeria 712 for some pizza, chatting, and saying goodbye to Elisabeth as she moves to Ohio. I got a tomato basil pizza and loved it!  Jake was so cute and wanted to come along, so he hung out in the car and waited for me as I hung out with friends. He read some of his book and went on a walk. He also stopped at The Chocolate to get us some yummy cookies! Hes the best! I love sugar cookies from The Chocolate!

I keep thinking its time to pack up the coats and get ready for spring, but, it keeps getting colder out here! I dont mind though, its been kind of fun and makes getting dressed everyday an unpredictable adventure! Today I ended up wearing a lot of cheetah and patterned prints. Jake is wearing one of his favorite blazers and Jcrew shirts! Jake loves the Jcrew mens slim fit shirts! He is excited to get some of there short sleeve shirts for the summer! I heard its supposed to snow tomorrow!

It started raining again! Wahoo! So awesome! I LOVE Rain! I was so excited when I found this bubble umbrella at Target! Seriously, one of my all time favorite purchases! I love that you can see rain through it, and hear the rain hitting the plastic! Such a great sound! I also love this new jacket I got at Zara! They have some great coats and Jackets! I need to buy some more :)  Here are some fun picture Jake and I got in the rain! P.S. Jake is officially a pirate in this post :) I was loving how his hints of orange were showing up so bright in the pictures with the dark rainy background! I loved it! P.S. I cant believe its already middle of April. Time is flying by this year! Anyone else feel that way?

Chillin by the Lakeside

Today I am wearing black women's bow tie I made with my favorite waxed jeans and suede shoes! Have you guys tried waxed jeans yet?! They are Jake and I's favorite! We both tend to only buy waxed jeans now because we love the way they fit and feel.  Jake is wearing one of my favorite blazers of his today. I always love a classy blazer and t-shirt on a man. We went down by the lake to take these pictures and we were loving the background! With the weather getting a little sunny around here, the snowcapped mountains and scenery have been amazing!
