Zoo Lights and New Years Eve!!!

Jake and I had a really great New Years Eve! We first started off going to the Zoo Lights at Hogle Zoo! It was amazing! All the lights were so cute! We loved walking around and seeing the cute animal lights! There were even some animals out and about too! All the tigers were out, and the reptiles! We had so much fun at the zoo!  It is now going to have to be a yearly holiday tradition! During December before Christmas, they even have Santa at the Zoo Lights. Heres lots of pictures from our evening at the lights! There were to many neat lights to take pictures of, I could not capture it all.

After a fantastic time at the Zoo, Jake and I went to Capital Hill, picked up pizza and headed home.

I love our new magnet we got at the Zoo! Jake and I like to collect Magnets everywhere we go :)

We got some yummy pizza at The Pie. OHHHH YUMMMY! We ate it all up!

Midnight hit! We had drinks, gave each other a kiss, and stayed up late watching movies! It was a perfect New Years!

Wesley's Homecoming Talk

This past Sunday, Jakes youngest brother gave a talk at church about some of his experiences from his Mission he recently got back from in France. He did a wonderful job on his talk and seemed to really enjoy the time he had in France and the great people he got to meet. This picture above was drawn by a daughter of a family friend to the Harris's. I thought she did a great job on the drawing! After church  we went over ot Jakes parents house for a few hours. We ate, chatted with guests and family and ate some more. It was a fun time! 

Tuna had a good time to. He mostly hung out on the stairs and ate candy.

Last Saturday night, Jake and I got to join some friends for dinner and treats over at the Riverwoods. For dinner we went to Tucanos to go eat some meat! We all had fun talking and stuffing our faces full of food! YUM! I really enjoyed having a date night with the hubbies, instead of the usual girl night! Dont get me wrong, I love the girls nights, but I also love hanging out with my Jakey, so its perfect combining the 2 together!

After dinner we went to Provo Beach Resort and got some ice cream. We all sat around and talked for a bit before we headed home. It was a great evening and so fun to finally do a evening with the husbands to!

Also, I was LOVING how beautiful the Riverwoods is at this time of the year. With the lights, and the beautiful fresh snow on the trees, it was lovely!

weekly update - wow its 2013!

Happy New year! WOW 2013 here we are! Cant wait to see what this year has in store!

This is going to be a huge and long weekly update...Its for the last 2 weeks. I have been so sick lately I have been behind in the blog world.  Lately, it was Christmas, Jakes brother came home from a mission in France, I have become a shopaholic again, I eat all day, it all feels like a blob. :) A good blob! Heres some pictures from the past 2 weeks! 

Tuna helping me sew, beat my record 2 times in one day on Ticket to Ride, Jake and ate at the Olive Garden one afternoon.

 Saw the Hobbit at the Movie theaters! It was amazing!

 I finally have been getting back into reading! Wahoo! I love getting new books!

 Christmas was AWESOME! We got to spend it with Jakes family this year, and had a great time!

 TONS OF SNOW this week! In one day we got 8 inches in our front yard!

 Shopping at City Creek mall! Jake took Wednesday day off. It was so nice to have him home. We shopped, ate at Pandas Express, read books and played our GameBoys.

I am a shopping addict! Love my new shopping finds and some more books I am so excited to read ;)

Thursday and the rest of the week looked like this.......

I was sick most of the weekend, so Jake was sweet and took good care of me! I also got some reading done to!

I made new MI characters on my gameboy for Jake, Tuna and I. I liked how they all turned out!

Saturday, we hung out with Jakes family all day, and then headed on a group date! Jake and I were starving before dinner, so we grabbed some cupcakes to eat, and then headed over to Tucanos! More pics to come from that!

Sunday, was Jakes brother Wesley's Homecoming talk in church! He did fantastic! Pictures coming from that soon to!
