Recently it has been super rainy out!  We have had several evenings of rainy days and it has been the best!  Jake and I both picked up some new wellies from Joules USA and were so excited we got to wear them in the rain!  

I was so excited when I saw these puppy dog print boots!  The inside of the boots even have a cute stripe print! I love that Joules USA has super fun prints and designs on their boots!  My favorites are all the cute animal prints!  Nothing better than some fun shoes with character!

One rainy evening last week we met up with a few friends for dinner and got some tacos.  We didn't get around to eating any Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo so we need to repent and eat some tacos!  After dinner, Jake and I went to one of favorite spots to pick up some caramels for dessert!  We had fun running around in our rain boots and jumping in puddles!

For some reason, any time I have rain boots on, I feel like it gives me permission to act like I am five and have some fun running around!  Rainy days are to be enjoyed and play in puddles :)

A few months ago Jake and I went to Yellowstone!  It was a first time for both of us going there!  Since we went at the end of April most of Yellowstone was closed, but we did get to the Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone so that was neat!  It was freezing outside and so the steam from the hot springs looked really neat!  It was also warmer by the hot springs too, so that was nice!

The parts of Yellowstone we got to drive through and explore were so beautiful! We loved anytime we would see animals on the side of the road, or even crossing the road!  There really was so much beauty all around us there!

Any time we go on exploring adventures, we can not leave the house with out our trusty Palladium Boots!  If you have not noticed, we love Palladium Boots and wear them any chance we get!  We love how comfy the shoes/boots are how they have so many fun styles!  We have worn our boots all over DC, Disneyland, Seattle, hiking, and anywhere we get the chance!  We love having a variety of styles and colors of Palladium Boots depending on what mood we are in!  We love a shoe company that gives us the versatility we need when we are out and about!

I got these lavender Baggy M Palladium Boots recently and have been wearing them often!  Its been raining out a lot at home and so I have been wearing darker clothing and the purple boots add the perfect pop of color to an outfit!  They have these boots in tons of bright macaron colors right now and I have been wanting to get them in every color! If you ever want to go exploring, put on some Palladium Boots, they will put you in the mood to go on an adventure! It works every time for me :)

Jake and I always look forward to the weekends!  Its a time for us to explore and enjoy the great out doors! A few weekends ago we were fortunate to do something we have been wanting to do for a long time!  We went and explored Tintic Refinery!  

Do you ever have those places you drive by a million times and want to stop but never do? This place was that for us.  We usually never stopped because we didn't have the right hiking shoes on, or didn't have time.  This day, both of those excuses were in the book for me, but I am so glad we stopped!  Jake had the perfect hiking shoes on, and next time I remember to not wear sandals :) Although, the Birkenstocks did pretty well in all the dirt and rocks!

You can barely see the mines when you are driving from the road and they look like a graffiti village inside a mountain!  Up close, the refinery is even cooler and there is a million places to explore.  There were so many walkways, and places to look around!

Sadly we got to the mines closer to dusk, so we didn't get to explore the mines as much as we wanted to!  We were so glad we went, and when we left we were wanting more!  That is my favorite, when we found a place we would love to go back to again and again!

Happy Wednesday!  Hope you had a great May 4th (May the Force) and May 5th (Cinco De Mayo)! So much to celebrate this week!

Today I am wearing some of my favorite new sandals for spring/summer from Miz Mooz.  I have been looking for some fun and unique sandals and was so excited when I saw these on their new shoes for spring!  I thought they were so prefect with the white straps and floral print inside on the shoes!

I have had a few pairs of Miz Mooz shoes over the years and have loved each of them.  They have all had original and unique designs and have been made with super comfy materials!  One thing I love about the site, is there a style of shoe for any women!

Jake is wearing another tie from Weekend Casual.  They always have dapper accessories for men!

Jake and I finally got around to taking pictures today in our outfits from our little news segment on ABC 4 Good Things Utah!  We wore these outfits over a month ago (in March) when we got to go on the morning news and talk about floral print!  Jake and I love anytime we get to go on the morning news!  We especially enjoy that we get to go together. 

When we were picking out our outfits for the segment, we knew we would be talking about florals so we thought we should both wear a little bit of floral print our selves!  In the past we have gone into a few Ted Baker stores and loved the amazing prints and perfect attention to detail in the clothing, but never had the chance to buy anything yet!  When we were looking for something floral print for men, we knew Ted Baker would have the perfect item!  And they did!  Jake picked up his floral Ted Baker shirt at Nordstrom!  He has been loving it and loves that the burgundy goes with lots of different looks!

I picked up my floral midi skirt at Anthropologie.  For the material and quality I thought it being under $200 was a steal of a deal! And the skirt has pockets! I also loved that it matched perfectly with Jake's Shirt!  It was a win, win!  There is nothing better than when a last minute rush to find the perfect outfit all works out :)

Happy Friday Friends!  Hope you all are having a great day so far!  Jake and I just finished a bowl of Mac and Cheese Spirals and are planning out our weekend!  We just love the weekends and can never get enough weekend time! 

Today I am wearing a fun dress from one of my favorite little shops called JunieBlake!  They always have fun, affordable and modest dresses!  So those are all a win, win in my book!

Jake is wearing a new tie and pocket square he got from our friends at Weekend Casual!  Jake loves Weekend Casual because they have very manly accessories at just the right price point!
