mens street style

One of Jake's and my favorite things to do when we go out of town is explore in the evenings! I love the quiet moments when the streets are empty and there are so many neat things to see!  I also love to just walk and hold Jake's hand.  When we were exploring we found neat architecture, pretty lights, and even some steam! It was a fun night of exploring! Here are some of my favorite shots we got that night when we were walking around all the Smithsonians!

Any time Jake and I travel, we try to bring casual clothes that are easy to pack, fold well, and easy to wear for different weather options! I actually brought a jean jacket and tights to wear with this outfit but it was so nice out, I decided to ditch the items and enjoy the sun on my legs! I was so excited!  In DC we felt there were so many amazing places to take outfit pictures! I wish we had a million outfits packed to take pictures in at all the fun locations! That sounds so dreamy to me :)  These pictures we took outside of the National Art Museum.  We got to go explore in there and see beautiful paintings and artifacts.  There was a Vincent Van Gogh and a Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit that we were so excited about! Cant wait to share some pictures with you from the museum this week!

Natural History Museums are my favorite kind of museums.  I love seeing animals, bones, ocean animals, dinosaurs, bugs, mummies and rocks!  These really are some of my favorite things, and I love that the Natural History Museum has them all! Not to mention DC rocks with most of all the museums being free! You cant beat that!

I really do enjoy walking around museums and reading all the signs! There are some areas of the Natural History Museum I could spend hours at. One of those exhibits I could spend a ton of time at is the Rocks and Minerals section.  There is every color or stone, and every shape and size! Round, smooth, spiky, and they are so neat!  They even had some rocks that would light up with a black light! They were so neat! Jake loved seeing all the silver and how they would form in different forms.

Do you enjoy going to museums?  Here are some pictures of some of our favorite things we were able to see :)

The weather was fantastic when we were in DC.  The early mornings and evenings were a bit chilly, but most of the day was perfect out!  We spent some time exploring the mall and walking around.  We loved hanging out on the grass and people watching. We even got some macaroons to split and enjoy! It was a fun afternoon :)
