Wow! It is officially New Years Eve! How exciting is that? Do you have any fun plans for the evening?! We are going to have a cozy night at home and get our home in order for the new year!

This has been such a wonderful year for us.  We have had so much fun traveling, enjoying the outdoors and sharing it with all of you!  Thank you so much for the love and support this year!  We have really felt it, and hope you have a fantastic 2016!

We took these pictures when we stayed in Vegas at the Four Seasons. They had this neat Fountain Terrace waterfall by the pool area where we took these photos! We have been excited for the new year, so we have been dressing like its celebration time for the past week.

When we stayed at Four Seasons Las Vegas we got to enjoy some tasty treats from PRESS on the patio.  It was the perfect ambience to enjoy being outside.  At home we have snow, so it was super fun for us to be able to sit outside and have enjoy sunny weather.

When we heard that the hotel had homemade smore's and hot chocolate, we knew we wanted to add that to our schedule right away! If you know anything about Jake and I, you know we love smore's and these ones did not disappoint!  They had homemade graham crackers that were incredible!  My mouth is salivating thinking about them!  I had no idea you could make homemade graham crackers, and they were perfection!

The display of the smore's and hot chocolate was almost too cute to eat! Almost... :)  I really loved the fun glass the hot chocolate came in.  The handle on it was so fun, and it was delicious to drink hot chocolate for a striped straw!

We had a wonderful time sitting outside, we stayed next to the fire for a few hours.  It was neat to have a change of weather and be able to sit outside and talk.  Next time we come back to the hotel we will have to try some of the small plates from PRESS.  The menu selection looked so tasty!

Four Seasons Las Vegas

Right before Christmas, Jake and I had the fun opportunity to visit the Four Seasons Las Vegas Hotel.  This hotel is a hidden gem on the strip!  It is located at the beginning of the strip by the Famous Las Vegas Sign.  We took these pictures at the front entrance of the hotel next to the valet.

With the amazing location of the hotel, the strip views from the rooms are breath-taking!  Jake and I love Las Vegas and tend to visit here quite a bit, and have never stayed at a place with view like this!  It was so fun to see the entire strip at night-time and see all the neon lights.   We loved the lights so much at night that we never shut the blinds in our room and feel asleep to the city lights.

The hotel was festive for the upcoming Christmas occasion and had a unique gingerbread display and lovely decorated tree.  We had to take a picture by them because it was so pretty tucked in the spiral stair case.

I got this Xscape beaded dress a few months ago and had been saving it for the perfect occasion...like a trip to Vegas.  I might wear this dress on New Years too, I loved it so much!  I have a few beaded dresses and was very impressed with the quality of this one.  It wasn't too heavy and after an entire evening of wearing the dress and having it packed in and out of my suit case, none of the beads came loose.

When we stayed at The Grand America Hotel, we took a quick ride on the Trax over to downtown Temple Square in Salt Lake City.  We had so much fun walking around and seeing all the lights!  It sure was crowded, and very cold, but it made for a wonderful time!  The best part about it all was staying at The Grand and so we didn't have to worry about parking downtown on a Saturday night!

This weekend we got to build a gingerbread house!  We purchased a Wilton kit that already had the gingerbread house frosted together, so all we needed to do was decorate it!  I was so glad we found a kit that had the house already put together, because sometimes that is the hardest part!

Jake did all the frosting on the house and I thought he did a wonderful job!  I love all the cute little icicles he added!  Looking at our finished house, I can see we ate more candy than put candy on the house! hehe

Jake and I were watching trailers for the new Star Wars movie The Force Awakens, and he looked over at me and said, "I have been waiting for this movie to come out for three years!"  Well Jake, the wait is now over!!!!!  We saw the movie this weekend, and LOVED IT! If you can, go see it asap!  Even if you are not a Star Wars fan I would recommend it! It was easy to follow the story line, and a fun movie with lots of good humor.

When I got married, I knew I needed to start learning more about Star Wars since Jake is such a fan.  We have watched the entire trilogy of movies several times together.  Over the years of our marriage I have learned more about Star Wars and have genuinely grown to like it.  Its just a neat story line, and I mean light sabers and robots.... its just fun :)

The first looks on this post we wore to the Star Wars premier.  I got my complete outfit at Disneyland when we recently went there!  Just finding this outfit was worth the trip for me :)  I was so excited about these fun shoes! I used to wear Irregular Choice shoes when I was in high school.  I fell in love with the brand because they always had unique shoes with fun design concepts to them.  I loved the cool Han Solo bottoms on the shoes, I didn't want them to get ruined!  Lucky, Protect Your Pumps saved the day!

Have you ever heard of Protect Your Pumps?! It really is the coolest product and have saved many of my shoes soles!  They are protective stickers that go on the bottoms of your shoes so the color or design on the bottom does not get destroyed.  I have a few pair of Louboutins I bought Protect Your Pumps sole covers for and still to this day there are not scratches on the red of my shoes, even though I have worn them a ton of times!  If you are ever wanting for your shoes to not get ruined on the bottom of them, make sure to check them out!  They have all sizes for mens and women's shoes!

Jake and I got these onesies a few months ago back on Force Friday and took pictures in them then, but my computer crashed and I lost everything so we decided it was time to bust them out again and take some pictures!  I have always liked Darth Vader and want to be him every year for halloween.  I feel if I am going to be Darth Vader for Halloween, I want one of those super legit costumes...so for now its some DV PJS till that magical day!

The Force Awakens + Light Saber Battle in the Snow VLOG

In honor of the new movie coming out, "The Force Awakens" we have been prepping for the big day!

Yes, these pictures/video could not be any more ridiculous.... but we had so making them all and playing in the snow with our light sabers!  Jake is a HUGE Star Wars fan, so guess what?! I love it too :)  

I grew up not knowing much about Star Wars so its been fun to learn about Star Wars.  Jake bought his Kylo Ren light saber a few months ago, and he surprised me with this Yoda light saber for my birthday!  I was cracking up when he got it for me, and was surprised how fun they are to play with! And they are a great flashlight :)

A few nights ago it was snowing out, and Jake said "can we go up to the mountains and play with our light sabers in the snow?!"  I love the snow, so I was all for it!

It was freezing out, and we were so glad that we bundled up!  We wore our Palladium Boots, and were so glad we did since the snow just kept comin and comin.  Anytime we are outdoors, and out and about we are wearing our Palladiums because they are the perfect explorer boot!
