We recently discovered that Groupon has lists of sales and discount codes for all your favorite shops and department stores!  The site is up to speed with any current sale that is going on and has everything for you in one easy place!  

Jake and I created today's His and Her Wish Lists all from items we found on sale from the Groupon Coupon page!  We picked out some of our favorite items that are on sale and linked next to the product where to get the deal on Groupon!  Jake really wants to get a new cruiser bike and I would love to get this Ted Baker dress!

A few weeks ago Jake and I stopped by one of our favorite restaurants for burgers called Station 22.  We heard they had a new summer menu and we were dying to try out some of the new items!  Jake got the Santa Fe Burger that had deep fried jalapeños on it!  He was sweet and gave me half of it.  We both loved the burger, and with the fries, it was delicious!  I got a citrus shrimp kale salad!  It was a great salad!  The dressing was so flavorful and the perfect touch to all the greens.  If I order it again, I am asking for the shrimp to be grilled! I think it would make the salad even tastier!

Our favorite part about Station 22 is the fun drink wall!  After we order our food, we like to head to the back of the restaurant where all the drinks are located.  We like to pair flavors of drink with what we have ordered for dinner! Kinda of like wine paring but with sodas!

When we stayed at The Grand America Hotel, we went out for a lovely dinner in Salt Lake City.  We thought dressing up in black and white would be perfect for the occasion!  

We found this cozy outside sitting area at The Grand that is located by a little outdoor garden!  It was a perfect place to sit and talk and think about the great evening spent together!

A few weekends ago Jake and I took a quick trip to the Canyonlands in Utah.  The Canyonlands are close to Moab!  We have been to Moab several times and never realized that the Canyonlands are next door and have the most breathtaking views!

On our trip we got to see a fun few sites but didn't get to spend enough time there!  We are hoping to make a trip out the Canyonlands in the future and stay more than a few hours!  Sunset time there was stunning and seemed to last forever!  It seriously felt like time stopped and that we got to sit and enjoy the sunset for hours even though it probably was only thirty minutes.

I recently got this fun June and Hudson floral dress from Nordstrom.  I loved that its a wrap dress and flowy!  I can see myself wearing it too the pool in the near future :)  Jake is wearing a summer blazer he picked up at Jcrew!  He was so excited to find a pink blazer!  We wish more places came out with fun colored blazers and suits for reasonable prices!

A Grand Pool Day

Being by a pool speaks summer time to us!  Nothing better than being by a gorgeous pool with your own cabana and food service!  Couldn't make for a better day!  Jake and I wore these swim suits on a pool day at The Grand America Hotel.  They have a stunning outdoor pool that is a blast to be at!

I love to be outside, but don't want to get burned in the sun.  Jake and I hid out in our own cabana and read books in between jumping in the pool!  Loved that I was able to sit in the shade but still enjoy being outdoors!

We had picked up some fresh macarons from The Grand America's bakery La Bonnie Vie to enjoy outside too.  Seriously, their macarons never disappoint!  They are always amazing! If you are looking for a fun summer vacation, The Grand is fun place to stay!

Jake and I wore these outfits when we stayed at the Montage Deer Valley Resort over the 4th of July!  At the Montage, there is an amazing restaurant called Apex that we always enjoy dressing up a little and going to dinner there!  The restaurant also has an amazing breakfast!

After a fun dinner date, we walked around the front of the Montage Resort where there is a view of the valley below.  We sat in some chairs by a big fire pit and enjoyed the sunset.  I am so grateful for a travel buddy who loves to explore but will also take the time to sit and watch the sun set with me!

I also wore this dress the past time I got to go to ABC 4 Good Things Utah.  Jake sadly had a scheduling conflict and not able to go with me, but it was still a great time! If you want to check out the segment, link to it HERE.

For some reason, we are still in the mood to wear red, white and blues even though July is coming to a close!  Something about those colors just feel like summer time to us!  

I saw this Kate Spade Fish Bag several months ago and really wanted it!  When I saw it go on sale,  I knew I had to snag my self one :)  I have always been a fan of Kate Spade, but these days I find my self buying quite a bit of her items!  I love how so many of the designs have fun personalities to them!

There is a waffle joint called Bruges Waffle and Frites that Jake and I like to stop by anytime we can.  Not only are there waffles super tasty, there french fries are the bomb.com!  They are seriously so delicious and the dipping sauce for them is amazing!  I have dreams about the french fries and want to eat them all the time!  We stopped by a few weekends ago when we were driving through and so happy we did!  It was oh so delicious!

Summer time is perfect for light denim.  I've had this flamingo skirt for a while but I love finding new things to wear with it.  Do you have any old pieces in your wardrobe that you've been able to revive by pairing it with something new?  I recently got this fun chambray top from Ravati, and it has a super fun lace back detail that I didn't capture in the pictures!  Jakes denim top is from Levis.

I picked up these white sandals from the Loft and was so sad when I saw they no longer have them, because I wish I had gotten them in black too!  Jake has been loving his Jack Purcells, and I think I need to pick up myself a matching pair soon! We have passed these gold bank doors many times and finally stopped for a minute to take pictures by them!  I wish all bank doors were big and gold like this!  Makes me think my money is safer backed behind some awesome doors! haha

If I could live in jumpsuits...I think I might!  I could honestly wear jumpsuits and dresses only and be a happy camper :)  I recently picked up this grey jumpsuit from the Loft and it was only $30!  For the quality, comfiness, fit, etc. I thought it was a killer price for the item!  If you are looking for a fun jumpsuit, I highly recommend it!  It fits true to size and when I checked online this morning they had every size available in it!

Jake is wearing some shorts from Jcrew.  He bought a few pairs of these shorts this earlier this spring and they have been the perfect staple shorts this summer.  They are easy to pair with lots of different looks and easy to style.

This past weekend we went on a fun date!  We went to the mall and did a little shopping and stopped by a local food joint for some Pho.  We always love a good bowl of Pho with tons of hot sauce and jalepenos! After lunch we went to my Nana's house and hung out with her for the rest afternoon.

My Nana Brady is 95 and the cutest lady around!  She is so with it and active for her age!  We don't get around to seeing her enough and need to more!  She always has the most amazing stories!  For example her husband was a pilot for the Air Force and they lived on base.  Their neighbor was Neil Armstrong and they had a bbq with him after he got home from his adventures of going to the moon!  She said she was so embarrassed because her little son asked him how he went to the bathroom in space.

I found out a fun new story from her this past weekend that I never knew.  She grew up on ranch in Kansas and all through elementary school to high school she road her horse three miles to and from school!  She said everyone in the area rode their horses to school too!  Instead off recess time, they would go to the school stable where they kept their horses and would feed them!  How fun is that?!

My Nana and her husband also built their own home and did it all by them selves except for the plaster.  But they did everything else!  They currently live in the same home today and have never had to replace anything in the home!  How crazy is that?!  It is such a cute home and amazing how well they built it all from what they learned from in a book!

Every time we visit Nana we are so grateful for families, and the amazing legacy she has created!  She is such a talented women!  I keep telling her she needs to write a book with all her fun travels and life stories!  I have so much I need to learn from her!

After a visit to Nanas we stopped by Ruby Snap for some cookies!  It was our first time there and we loved it!  We tried four cookies and the Red Velvet cookie was our favorite!
