Last day of Girls Camp :) Friday/Saturday

Friday was our last day of camp! The Bishopric and some of their wives were coming up to camp, so  it was time to clean up our camp site and make it look fresh again!

Ok, I am in love with potguts. They are so dang cute! They made me so happy seeing them running around everyday! Here is one jumping in the fire, jumping up on a grate and eating marshmallow off a skewer  So cute!

I feel so bad for all the animal life that ended on our account at camp. One Potgut, one squirrel (fell in a water bucket and drowned :( and 5 mice. Poor little animals. It was not fair for them. I hope they are in animal heaven having a good life and eating all they want!

This year, LDS Girls Camp reached 100 years of tradition! Whooooa! We got to celebrate and have a party, play games and even hit a pinata!

At the last roll call, I got my necklace! Wahoo!

Jake was a gem and came up to camp! I was sooooo happy to see him! I was out of town for 2 weeks before camp, and was home for 2 days before I left for girls camp again, so I was so happy to give my husband a big hug and kiss! The stake was hilarious and some how rounded up some of the girls to "borrow" some of the mens items that all came up to camp, so the men would have to do the Tinker-bell Dance to get there items back! When you lost something at camp, you got to go up and dance with everyone else who forgot there stuff somewhere that day. It was so funny seeing the men all do. We were all laughing and loving it!

Friday night ended with Testimony Meeting(sharing our feelings and what we know about life and God). Then we all ate cobbler and more subs to top off the night!

Saturday was a long day of packing up camp and cleaning up! Here is cute Mckenzie and I.

Girls Camp Day 3: Thursday!

Thursday was a great day at camp! It started off with over half of our girls receiving their Incredigirl necklaces! Way to go girls! You are all amazing! Then we headed over to the water front for some serious canoe games! Here are some action shots!

A special treat came on Thursday! Catherine and her super cute mom! Mckenzie and Stacey G. got to go canoeing with them around the lake!

We got a yummy salad lunch, and headed back to our camp site for some ward time!

We had a hair washing party, and got to see some neat animal life :)

Our ward was in charge of dinner prep and clean up! I was so impressed at a wonderful job all your girls did! Way to go!

Soup, bread and honey butter for dinner, hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls for dinner!

In the evening, we got to enjoy some singing around the lake, and a star gazing class! It was wonderful!

Girls Camp Day 2: Wednesday

Wednesday we had an awesome bacon and french toast to start camp off right! Chole was super awesome and was the first one to complete and get her Incredi-gil necklace! Go Chloe!  The Stake Leaders came up with a challenge to memorize a scriptrue for each young womens value and write in your journal how you can live that value in your life. Our entire ward 24 girls and 5 leaders all got our incedigirl necklaces by the end of the week!

 After roll call, we headed to the pavillon to split into groups! Here are some pictures from craft time! We each got to make a new journal.

 Wednesday night we got to do our ward skit! The girls did so awesome job remembering the words of the songs!

Smores time!

Before bed time, Ember and Brianna were welcomed with a cute little bat above their beds :) Ember was a rock star and calmly caught the cute little guy to take him outside! Go Ember!

Girls Camp Day 1 :)

This last week I got to spend some great time at Girls Camp! We went to Camp Mia Shalom. It was beautiful the entire time! I was loving it! I had so much fun spending time with the girls and leaders and getting to know everyone a bit more :)

I got to drive the trailer up to haul our food and camping gear! I was a bit nervous to drive it because I have not hauled anything in a few years, but it was really fun! No biggie ;)
