We just recently went on a trip to California to hang out with my parents and go to Disneyland! Jake really wanted to celebrate graduating at Disneyland, and I was all for it!
We had a rainy drive to CA and took these pictures on the side of the road when the rain cleared up for a bit. We had fun listening to Jurassic Park on tape on the trip and being with my mama in the car too! It was a great time!
Anytime we travel I want to wear something comfy but cute! I wore this Shabby Apple plaid dress and it worked great in the car! I could move around in it but still curl up and take a nap in it :)

This is our last post from our time at Disney World. This was my first time ever to Hollywood Studios and didn't know what to expect. It reminded me a lot of California Adventure, but had its own fun diffrent details. Jake had been to Hollywood Studios back in the day when it was MGM. We both really enjoyed spending the day exploring the park!
On our Disney World trip, Jake wore his Perforated Cole Haan ZeroGrands most of the trip! Have you ever had a chance to experience ZeroGrands yet?! If not, I promise you, they are worth every penny! Jake's feet were so comfy and not tired by the end of each day, that I was regretting not bringing my ZeroGrands with me on the trip! When we go out for a Disney day we like to be there before the park opens and leave after the park closes! With long days, ZeroGrands are where its at! Next Disney World trip I am making sure I bring mine too!

We hope you all had a great weekend! We were ever so lucky to be able to spend mother’s day with my mom down in Southern California! We had a relaxing day going to 10am church, and afterwards finding a quiet hidden beach to walk down. The weather was perfect and we love spending time with mom!

It feels so odd to have a blog post with pictures with out Jake in them, but he couldn't be part of these because I was getting invites ready for a CACTUS SURPRISE PARTY for him! I was so obsessed with how the invites turned out from Minted, I had to share them! I have been wanting to Instagram them and Snapchat them but I had to keep my lips sealed so I didn't spoil the surprise! The party was last night, so now I can shout on the roof tops about all my favorite party details :)
Jake is graduating today with his MBA and I could not be more proud of him! He has been working so hard and knew a celebration needed to be had with all our family and friends! I had so much fun getting ready for the party! Sometimes the party prep can be as much fun as the party itself!
Jake has been obsessed with cacti for the past few years so when I thought about a Graduation party theme, I knew cacti had to be involved! I had gotten the general idea of the party vibe I was wanting to create like make your own terrarium, photo spot, cactus themed treats, etc. but I knew to seal the deal I had to find the perfect invites! I have always loved getting invites in the mail, and sending out the perfect invites is even more fun!
I was googling cactus party invites and Minted Cactus Wedding Invite set came up. Right when I saw them I knew these were the cards! It worked out perfect being a wedding set because it had matching insert cards you could get as an option, and I wanted them! With the party being a surprise I didn't want to worry guests if they could not be to the party on time, worry about parking or gifts, so I was glad I could do an extra card to go in the envelope with all the details about the party.
My favorite thing that Minted offers is free address addressing for guests on your envelopes! It was super easy too! I just uploaded our Christmas address file and went from there. I have been waiting for the weather to warm up so I could wear this cute floral top from Cooper and Ella! I got it back at the beginning of October and have had it in my closet waiting for the weather to warm up so I could wear it with out a coat! I really loved this blouse because it is cute on its own with some simple jeans, or tucked in with a skirt! I love when a top can be versatile in how you can wear it instead of only one way to wear it! I checked out online at Cooper and Ella and their new summer collections are so darling! With the weather warming up, I wanted to make sure I got in some fun opened toe sandals too! I really love cooler weather, but there is something so dreamy to me about a sunny day as well! I got these fun strappy heel sandals from Dune London. I was trying to find a pair of strappy heels and really loved that these ones had a chunky heel, tassels and were a neutral color!
