weekly update

Wow, what a week! This has been our first week in our home and we are all unpacked! Wahoo! Now I need to go through everything and get rid of stuff! Monday was Jakes cute mom's birthday! We got to go celebrate with her at Corner Bakery for dinner!

And for dinner I got a turkey caperize sandwich and salad! YUM! Corner Bakery is one of my all time favorite places to eat!

Tuesday night our basement flooded. This is the aftermath after all the water drained. Ah everything in the entire basement got wet. It was a huge bummer. There was an inch of water all over. Our amazing Plummer came over and saved the day.

This is what he found in the drain.....it was clogged with cement :( Well at least its fixed now.

Tuesday night Jake and I hung the first item in our house! Wahoo! We got this super cool stag head at Restoration Hardware. Hes a keeper! Wednesday  Jakes (now mine to :) super sweet Aunt Christi came over and helped me unpack! Oh she's the best! I was jsut getting tired of unpacking and she was the boost I needed. We finished the kitchen, panty, and master closet! She is the best! I will always remember how sweet she is. It seriously made my week having that help!

Thrusday, Diana was so cute and came over! We have fun chatting and showing her our new place!

Isnt Oliva the cutest?! We really bonded this time around. If I ever need a baby sitter for Tuna and Pokey, I now know who to call :)

Thursday evening, Jake and I ran some errands and got some Yogurtland! YUMMMMY!

Friday it snowed, and snowed, and snowed and didn't stop once from morning, till evening! Jake came home so excited to shovel the driveway! I was so glad he was so excited about it! He really was!

For dinner, I was craving meat! So we went to dinner at Tucanos! Oh so yummy!

I am ready for some meat!

Friday, Jake and I did some shopping at the Disney store at the mall! I love the trees with fresh snow on them. It is beautiful!

After we went to go to the movies, but realized we didn't really have much time, so we got some pizza!

The kitchen is coming along! I need the cabinets to be fixed so I can go get glass in the doors! I feel like its the last thing on the house to do and I am dying to get them done! I want the kitchen to be finished  I guess in time right?!
