On our drive home from Vegas last week, it was so pretty out we decided to pull over and take some photos!  We stopped in St. George for dinner and took these picks.  We always love all the pretty red rocks there.

Sometime we need to plan a trip to visit St. George and go hiking and exploring the red rocks.  We always drive though and never stop and need to add it to our bucket list someday!

I wore this dress when we were in Vegas for a long day of meetings and walking around.  I loved how it was such an easy dress to wear, but I still felt put together.  When I saw this dress online at Asos I had to buy it right away!  I loved the jewel details and the box pleat midi skirt on it!

Jake got this fun Scotch and Soda Blazer last time we were in Vegas together!  This was his first item from this store and I know it wont be his last!  I wish we could some how show a picture of how cute the inside is.  It has a darling navy with orange polka dot lining that is so cute!  We love cute items with fun hidden details.

Utah has really warmed up these past few weeks so I took all my winter coats to the dry cleaners so they would be crisp and clean for next season.  I guess I jumped the gun on that because it started snowing this weekend!  It made Jake and I so excited! We have been so sad that we have not gotten much snow this winter.  We hope we get some serious snow storms this week!

Looking back at these pictures from one of our adventures at the Montage Resort in Deer Valley really makes us want it to snow even more!  If it starts snowing we want to sneak up there again and roast some smores in the cold!  There is nothing better then being bundled up in a warm coat around a glamourous camp fire and having supplies for smores laid all out for you!  And hot chocolate!

Anytime I think of the Montage, my mouth starts salivating from dreaming of a homemade peppermint marshmallow with dark chocolate on a gram cracker!  I seriously have dreams about these smores! 

Jake and I dream about our stay-cation to the Montage Resort often.  I think one of the main things we loved about the resort is how easy it is.  A lot of times trips can seem overwhelming, hard to plan, and stressful.  We loved that once we got to the hotel, the trip was a breeze!  We never had to worry about our luggage, or getting to and from our car (valet).  There were amazing restaurants, a cute coffee shop, darling clothing shops (that also carry my favorite brand of stuffed animals) and even a bowling alley!  There were so many activities to do at the resort!  We stayed for 3 days, never left the resort and didn't get to do all the things we wanted to do there!

One thing we really wanted to do and didn't get a chance to do was take a fun exercise class.  They had a very beautiful gym and even had a cute gym class room where they had cycling, yoga, dancing and other types of fun work out classes throughout the day!

We did get to spend time at the outdoor pool which was really fun since it is heated during the winter!  It was so fun for it to be freezing outside and warm in the pool.  We wore our resort robes and slippers down to the pool so it was cozy when we got out!  When we got back to our hotel room, we turned on the fire, watched a tv show and got some tasty room service!

The more I am writing about this resort, the more I miss it! I will have to share more about it later because I am getting sad were not there right now :)

 Jake and I got to spend all last week in Vegas.  We had some fun meetings to go to and did a lot of walking around!  One morning we were getting ready and I wasn't loving any of the clothing options I had brought for that day.  Jake was so cute and had the bright idea to run to the mall across the street to try and find something to wear!  When we were rushing through the mall (we had a meeting we had to be at soon) we saw the Kate Spade store.  Right when we walked in, Jake and I gave each other a thumbs up because we knew we would find the perfect outfit to wear for the day!

I was looking for a dress that was comfortable, flattering, and easy to move in and walk around in.  Jake saw this color block pleated crepe dress and thought it would be a good one to try on!  He was right!  It was the perfect find!  We bought the dress and then I went into the changing room and put the dress on and wore it out of the store!  I love when you go into a store and find exactly what you are looking for!  I was excited because we also found a few other cute dresses to wear too for another day!

Normally when I have shopped for Kate Spade items I have bought them at Nordstrom or online.  I now only want to buy directly from one of their stores!  The shopping experience is so much fun in store and in person!  If you buy a dress they put the dress in a hot pink garment bag and wrap it up so cute!  I saw for the handbags, they have darling colorful boxes!  I am a person who is all about the experience and really feel like I have been missing out not shopping directly at the Kate Spade store!  I want to go back and buy more things just so I can have the cute packaging :)

A few weeks ago when I got the chance to go on girls trip to Vegas I purchased this dress!  We were going out for a fun dinner and dancing and I did not bring any dresses and needed to find the perfect dress in a short time.  We were shopping at Ceasers Palace and I saw they had an Elie Tahari dress and I knew I would be able to find there perfect dress there!  Do you ever feel like a brand was made just for you and your body type?! That is how I feel about Elie Tahari!  Every time I try on one of their dresses, they always fit like perfection and feel so comfy.  I got this dress along with a few others and cant wait to share more with you soon ;)

Jake got his camel hair Gant coat last season.  We never knew a camel hair coat would go with so much!  The color is a great neutral to be paired with blacks or browns. He found his coat on a fun birthday stay-cation we had for him last year at The Grand America Hotel!

Happy Valentines!
