Last year Jake and I missed going to the Midway Ice Castles and were so sad, so we wanted to make sure to got to go see them this year! Sadly, the weather has been extremely warm here and so the ice castles were only open for two days this season. We were so glad we got to stop by one evening that it was opened!
We had so much fun walking around and exploring. Our favorite part was the different colored lights that would shine behind the ice and make it glow! They also had a little confessions stand and had really good sausage rolls and hot chocolate that we had fun snacking on!
We hope next year we have colder weather and that the ice castles will be open longer and during the day!
