Spring time is amazing! We love being outside and seeing all the trees, plants and flowers start to bloom!  We had heard that the blossoms were beautiful around this time of year at the Utah State Capitol, so we had to go take a look and see for ourselves!  We felt like we were seeing the cherry blossoms in DC! hehe well, almost ;)  We have gone to see the cherry blossoms in Washington DC for the past four years and are sad we're going to miss them this year, so we were glad we got a little feel of DC.

Today we are both wearing spring jackets from Johnston and Murphy!  I was so excited when I saw this awesome suede waterfall front jacket!  Suede is a huge trend for spring this year, and I was so excited to find an item that is suede and that I loved!  I also like that the blush color will easily go with an assortment of outfits.

I love spring jackets because the weather is always so weird during this time of the year, so its nice being able to have light pieces to layer. Jake is wearing a neutral blazer.  He loves that during spring time you can start to wear lighter colors and have more fun with your wardrobe!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Last year Jake and I realized we needed to have a more active lifestyle.  With how much we like to eat out and eat sweet treats, we decided it was time to start having a work out plan in place to balance all our eating out!

Between trying to be creative with work outs and finding new workouts we love, we have found that one thing that keeps us motivated to exercise is buying cute work out clothes.  For women, there is a huge variety of quality activewear but for men, it can be hard to find quality and versatile work out gear.

Jake recently discovered Rhone Apparel and loved that it was an all mens online activewear apparel shop!  He ordered a few pieces from their spring 2015 line, which he is wearing in today's post.  We both thought the price of the apparel was spot on and the quality of the items were fantastic.  We both thought the workout gear feels like high end quality and will last a long time.

Jake loved that Rhone Apparel not only looked good, but it felt good! The pieces he purchased have received a beating this past month with Jake running in them everyday and he loves how they are so soft and don't stink if he sweats.  Jake also liked that after he worked out if he had to run an errand he didn't feel like he had to change clothes.  We love versatile clothing that we can wear for different occasions.

If you are looking for great work out gear for your man, check out Rhone Apparel, you won't be disappointed :)  Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a great week!

Today we are excited to share another look with clothing items we picked out from the Pique boutique at Montage Deer Valley Resort.  If you have not noticed, we are a little obsessed with the Montage Deer Valley Resort and love anything to do with it!  It is such a cozy and quiet hotel, but it really has a luxury feel to it! So naturally, when we had the chance to look through the Pique shop we loved it right away.

Jake picked out this super cool navy leather backpack.  He liked that it was a fun design and had lots of cool pocket compartments!  I really loved this leather jacket I picked out.  I loved how soft and flexible the leather is and how it is a great staple item that can pair with lots of outfits!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! We hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Last year in January Jake and I got to go on a fun adventure to Disney World.  Before our flight home, Jacob and I were both sad that we had to leave the Disney magic.  We were walking around the airport and spotted saw some super cute leopard print shoes in a store window.  Jake and I had to go in the store since we loved what we saw!  That was the first time we discovered Johnston and Murphy! And we were so glad we did!  I bought two pairs of shoes that day and they have been great staple shoes in my everyday wardrobe!

Jacob and I recently had the opportunity to shop at Johnston and Murphy when Jacob was looking for a new pair of black dress shoes.  There were so many unique designs, and affordable options he had a hard time picking out just one.  Jake ended up picking out the Conard Cap Toes.  He loved that he could wear them with black laces, or make them stand out with the blue laces that also came with them!  When Jacob got the shoes in the mail, he was so impressed with the quality of the shoes.  We couldn't believe the great price point for so many items on the Johnston & Murphy site.

I also found some fun items online at Johnston & Murphy that I thought were perfect for spring! I got this Dotted Square Trench and knew it would be a great staple item for the new season!  I could not pass up a cute print either! I love how trenches are the perfect jacket for this time of year and are super easy to wear.

I also picked up these cute wingtip flats!  I am always look for a neutral and cute shoe that can be styled different ways and thought these shoes would be just perfect!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a fantastic day!  We are excited to share some more awesome Johnston and Murphy finds with you soon! Happy Monday!

Happy Friday! Can you believe the weekend is almost here?!  Jake and I always look forward to our weekends.  The weather has been so amazing lately that we are hoping to go on a bike ride and on a fun hike!  We are hoping to spend as much time that we can outside these upcoming weeks!

Today we have some fun accessory items we are wearing that we are excited to share with you all!

First off is my crystal heirloom bracelet from Chloe + Isabel.  I have been looking for a simple bracelet that can be dressed up or down and add a little charm to any outfit, and this bracelet was just it for me!  I am excited to try it out with some other outfits too! If you are ever looking for a fun and unique jewelry piece, Chloe + Isabel will always have something good!

With wanting to spend more time outside these days, Jake and I have been thinking its time for new sunglasses! We recently both picked out some new sunglasses out from Frames Direct and have been so happy we did.  We are both wearing our new sunnies in todays post! We recently discovered Frames Direct and love how the site is so simple to shop, they have an amazing selection, and great prices on designer sunglasses!  I have been wanting these white round Prada sunnies, and have not been able to find them anywhere online, and was so excited to find them on Frames Direct, and in 3 different colors! I was in sunglass heaven!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Recently Jake and I had a chance to visit one of our all time favorite resorts, the Montage Deer Valley Resort!  We checked out their boutique called Pique and had so much fun looking through the store and creating spring His and Her looks!  We also got to visit our favorite pup Jonas, so that was quite the treat! He is such a sweet and polite pup!

We loved that Pique carried a lot of our favorite brands and we were able to learn about new luxury brands as well!  We picked out two more outfits from the Montage Deer Valley Resort Pique store and can't wait to share the rest with you soon :)

Today we were excited to share with you some of our favorite Spring 2015 Trends!  Jake and I each wrote a little segment about our outfits and our favorite trends below.

FROM JACOB:
I’ve always loved spring time.  The air is still brisk and not too hot. As nature becomes more vibrant I find splashes of color working their way into my wardrobe.  The Pique store at Montage Deer Valley had me covered this trip up to the mountains and I was able to find these amazing pieces right on trend for spring fashion.

Spring is always the perfect time to start mixing in fun colors and I don’t think that will ever change.  You can’t go wrong this season with floral prints and I especially love this Robert Graham button up.  The hidden pops of floral are just enough for my taste without being too bold.  I loved the hidden glimpses of print inside the collar and especially the cuffs themselves.

This shawl collared cardigan from Under Armour was a surprising find for me.  I had never seen their luxury line which I discovered is only being sold at Montage Deer Valley resort and possibly one other location in the US.  The woven cashmere felt comfortable and luxurious.  The hard lines, contrasting textures and elbow patches still stayed true to the active-wear brand Under Armour is known for.  I also liked seeing the bold pop of red on the inside layer.  I’ve been seeing a lot of active-wear making its way into mainstream fashion and I love it.
The blue corduroy Bugatchi pants offered great fit and comfort, giving my outfit another layer of texture that I paired with my walnut colored wing-tips.

FROM KELSEY:
This spring there are so many trends I’m excited about and have been wanting to incorporate into my wardrobe.  I love how spring time is the perfect time to try out new trends and bring some color and unique prints back into the wardrobe!

Some of my favorite women’s trends for Spring 2015 are gingham, culottes, statement stripes, out-of-the-ordinary animal prints, sporty athletic wear, high collar neck lines, subtle 70's, colored suede and fringe.  I love that with any of these trends you can either wear an outfit head to toe in any one trend, or start small by incorporating just bits and pieces like a fringe handbag or a tasseled shoe.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Montage Deer Valley Resort and spent some time in the Pique store.  I loved seeing the unique items they got in for spring time.  I put my entire outfit together with items they had on hand.  I loved how easy it was to navigate the store and find the perfect pieces to make a complete outfit.

One trend I particularly like for spring and wanted to incorporate in my outfit today, is black and white. Black and white for spring time to me is very unexpected yet welcome.  I paired a jewel collared blouse with a long fur vest.  Living in Utah, I find myself pairing winter accessories during spring time to help transition my wardrobe.   I love that wearing simple black and white allows you to have fun with other pieces of your outfit.

When I saw these snakeskin print pants from Hudson, I fell in love with them.  I felt that by pairing these pants with the black and white on top, more focus would be on the snakeskin print and neat zipper detailing.
