Happy Easter 2013

Hope you all had a great Easter! I know it was forever ago, but I am now just getting around to post about it! Jake and I had a great one! This has acutally been the first holiday in years we have been able to spend just us 2. Dont get me wrong, I would always choose to spend a holiday with family if we could, but this year it didn't happen for us for Easter. But it was great to spend time together just us 2. The morning started off with Jake, Tuna and I so excited to see the baskets the Easter Bunny brought! We ate candy for breakfast and went to church. After church we came home took a nap and woke up to make dinner together. Ok I lied, Jake made most of the dinner and I just watched..but he didn't mind.

Easter overall was a great time for me to reflect, think about Christ, and focus a little bit of time on Him.  It made me want to do better in life, want to find ways to bring joy to others lives, and just be all around kind to everyone I meet. I try to do those things, but thinking about it all was good for me to recommit and make those goals again in my life.

Christmas Morning

Wow, Christmas was one exciting day! I woke up so fast when I thought of stockings.  I knew Jake had worked so hard on making me the perfect stocking, I was so excited to see it! He is always so sweet and thoughtful.

My stocking!  I LOVED everything in it! Tons of my favorite things! A crayola party set, Lego, Hello Kitty, Unicorns, treats, a new 3ds game, oh I was in heaven! I felt I didn't even need presents after an amazing stocking! After looking at all this fun stuff, Jake and I started on breakfast. Jakes family was coming over for christmas, so we wanted it to be special and fun. When Jakes family got to our home, we ate, and then headed over to the tree.

Jake got me a XL PINK Nintendo 3DS! Ah wahoo! I have been playing it non stop! I LOVE IT!!! I have a regular size 3DS, and the XL is AMAZING! I have been playing all my video games over again because its a whole new experience with a bigger screen!

It was a fantastic Christmas! I feel we made out like bandits :) We loved having Jakes family over and spending time with them. We hope to have them over again another Christmas! We had fun watching shows, eating, playing games, calling family on facetime, and hanging out together. Facetime is really amazing. I loved being able to see all my siblings and parents faces on Christmas day. This was my first Christmas not being in AZ with my fam, and seeing my family on facetime made me feel like I was right at home :)

25 never felt so good!

Monday I turned 25! I completely forgot it was even my bday, from life just being so busy and crazy lately! None the less, it was an amazing bday! Jakes mom was so sweet and wanted to make it extra special for me and she did! The day started off with Jake waking me up with a basket full of goodies wrapped in Winnie the Pooh wrapping paper he picked out all by himself. Cute boy! I got some movies, new 3DS gameboy games (LEGO Lord of the Rings and Adventure Time) and beautiful stainless steal extra large LG washer and Dryer. Sweet boy.

In the afternoon, Jakes mom came over and took me to lunch! How cute is she? I loved the ballons she got me! I had so much spending the afternoon with her! I felt so spoiled and loved!

We went to Gurus for lunch! I got fish tacos. They may be my new favorite food item there!

After we went to The Chocolate and got cookies, and mom Harris got me a super cute bday cake!

My Aunt LeeAnn and Uncle Steve came to visit! They were in town from NY so it was great to see them! I was so excited to show them our new home and say hello to them!

In the evening, Jake took me to Bombay House for dinner! Oh sooo yummy!

I even got bday ice cream! After we were going to go to the movies, but I wanted to be a bum and come home and watch TV and wear PJs. It was so much fun!  We stayed up till 2am watching TV. I love fun/ relaxing nights like that! It was a perfect bday!

Jakes parents are so cute! They got me the cutest Anthro hat I really wanted and my favorite treats!

The night ended with a super yummy cake, and lots of phone calls from my family and friends  It was super fun to talk to all of them and catch up! PS. The cake was delicious!!!! Thanks everyone for all the bday wishes, and all the love! It was an amazing 25th birthday! 

Jakes LEGO Birthday Weekend has begun!

For Jakes birthday, we wanted to have a LEGO Party! Jake has loved LEGOS since he was a little boy, so it is quite fitting to have a LEGO party :) I thought it would be fun to have him open all his presents tonight, so he could play with them on his birthday (tomorrow) all day!

 I went a little over kill on the presents this year......It is just so fun to buy LEGOS!

I think Jake had some fun opening his presents! I think he will have even more fun in the weeks to come playing with his presents! Jake made this display all by himself so he could look at all his presents. haha What a cute boy.
