Jake Turns 33 and we EAT

On Presidents day, it also happened to be Jakes Birthday! We had so much fun with him having no work and getting to spend his bday together! Jake turned 33! So exciting! There were 2 things Jake wanted to do for his birthday. 1. go to park cafe and 2. go to the zoo :)

So first stop was The Park Cafe in downtown Salt Lake City! Oh yummy! We decided, we like all their food, but nothing beats breakfast there! Especially the french toast and park potatoes! This time Jake got chicken noodle soup with a pastrami and cheese burger, I got a blt with turkey and park potatoes...and we got french toast. Yes way to much food, and left overs, but it was so good!

After we went to Park Cafe, we went to Hogle Zoo and had blast! For dinner we got to meet up with Jakes family at The Corner Bakery. I got The spinach sweet crisp salad and the Chicken Tortilla Soup! Jake got the chicken pesto sandwich. I love The Corner Bakery's baby bunt cakes and cookies to!

Jakes mom brought Jake a carrot cake to enjoy! We all sang happy bday and ate cake!

To end the evening, Jake and I watched Bacholor, went to the gym and ate again at Firehouse Subs... :) Did you know on your bday if you show your ID, Firehouse subs gives you a free sub! So kind and makes a bday really awesome!

Birthday Attack

Last week, my good freinds Alycia and Diana were so sweet and came and surprised me! They had already talked to Jake the week before and asked him to have me be home for when they came by to get me. Cute girls! Well, they came and picked me up and took me to a lovely Bombay House and Yogurtland dinner and dessert! OH YUM!

I got a new dish this time! It was a pineapple shrimp and oh my wow...amazing! My New favorite!

I feel so lucky to have made such good friends. Its so nice! They sure made me feel so special and loved for my bday!  We all always have so much fun together! We mainly laugh the entire time together which I love! Thanks girls for a great evening and making me feel so special! I had so much fun!

25 never felt so good!

Monday I turned 25! I completely forgot it was even my bday, from life just being so busy and crazy lately! None the less, it was an amazing bday! Jakes mom was so sweet and wanted to make it extra special for me and she did! The day started off with Jake waking me up with a basket full of goodies wrapped in Winnie the Pooh wrapping paper he picked out all by himself. Cute boy! I got some movies, new 3DS gameboy games (LEGO Lord of the Rings and Adventure Time) and beautiful stainless steal extra large LG washer and Dryer. Sweet boy.

In the afternoon, Jakes mom came over and took me to lunch! How cute is she? I loved the ballons she got me! I had so much spending the afternoon with her! I felt so spoiled and loved!

We went to Gurus for lunch! I got fish tacos. They may be my new favorite food item there!

After we went to The Chocolate and got cookies, and mom Harris got me a super cute bday cake!

My Aunt LeeAnn and Uncle Steve came to visit! They were in town from NY so it was great to see them! I was so excited to show them our new home and say hello to them!

In the evening, Jake took me to Bombay House for dinner! Oh sooo yummy!

I even got bday ice cream! After we were going to go to the movies, but I wanted to be a bum and come home and watch TV and wear PJs. It was so much fun!  We stayed up till 2am watching TV. I love fun/ relaxing nights like that! It was a perfect bday!

Jakes parents are so cute! They got me the cutest Anthro hat I really wanted and my favorite treats!

The night ended with a super yummy cake, and lots of phone calls from my family and friends  It was super fun to talk to all of them and catch up! PS. The cake was delicious!!!! Thanks everyone for all the bday wishes, and all the love! It was an amazing 25th birthday! 

Birthday in the Park

Last Saturday afternoon we got to spend it with Jakes family to celebrate Jakes dads Birthday! Wahoo! We all met up at a park where Jakes parents got it all set up with some yummy food and decor!

For lunch we had chicken fingers, side salads, watermelon, and homeade apple pie! It was delicious!

Playing in the park. I loved seeing how cute my mother in law is! She was climbing up, rolling around, and playing all over the park with the grandkids. I was loving it! I cant wait for her to be Jake and I's kids grandma someday!

Thanks mom and dad for a great celebration! We had so much fun seeing everyone and having a great time at the park.

moms 60th family bday

Last week was my moms 60th birthday! Cami and Jeff had a party for my mom at their house! I think my mom looks so cute in this picture! I think she should only be having her 40th birthday. She looks so young.

Look at all these special touches all done by Morgan. She is so cute! She really wanted to make my moms birthday special for her! What a cute girl! I hope to have a sweet daughter like Morgan someday.

Cami and Jeff got a fun standup pool in their backyard! Oh my goodness, the kids were allll loving it sooo much! They were all cracking me up at how much fun they were having!

Can you tell who won me over this weekend? Oh my goodness, Alyssa is so dang cute! She has always been adorable, but wow, she has gotten so sweet and cute! I love her!

Cami made an awesome dinner! Lasagna was a hit! We ate 3 entire pans of it....

To close off the night we all talked about some favorite memories with mom, played a guessing game Morgan made up, and opened presents! It was a great evening! Morgan also played some songs on the piano for us. She did a great job!

Jakes Lego Birthday Party Pictures

Wahoo! Jake turned 32 on Saturday! So exciting! I am not going to lie...I wish we had more friends that lived in Utah that could play with us and come to our parties :) We had a great time though, and are grateful for the family and friends we have that do live close to us! Thanks so much for those that came and helped make Jakes 32nd birthday and awesome one!
