Recently I have seen billboards around town announcing The Grand America had remodeled their spa and it was now open!  I have been really wanting to try it out and see what it had to offer, and also take some time to relax and hang out.  While at Jake's and my stay at The Grand America, we got to spend some time at the new spa.  I was so glad we did, because it was a highlight of the trip!  I feel like I am constantly running around every day and never take the time to sit, so it was so nice to feel pampered and take a breather.

In the spa there is a beautiful pool and Jacuzzi, with some fun lounge chairs to hang out in.  Not to mention fantastic green chandeliers that really help set the mood for a tranquil time.  The indoor pool is up on the fourth floor and has an amazing view of the courtyard.  We went to the pool around 5:30 pm so we got see the transition of day to night in the courtyard and it was lovely!  I loved seeing the fountain lights turn on and light the water in the evening.

With being on a tight schedule while we were at The Grand, we didn't get the chance to try out any of the spa services, but we want to next time for sure!   I really want to try out the couples massage.  It sounds AMAZING!  I think Jake would like to hit up the Barbering Services.  He has always thought it would be neat to have someone shave his beard like the old fashion way with a straight edge razor.

We did get to spend a little time in the the separate mens and women's areas where they had relaxing steam rooms, personal showers and everything you could need to get ready for the day!  Jake was feeling a little congested earlier in the morning we went to the spa, so he was loving sitting in the steam room.

If you ever get a chance to check out The Grand America Spa, I highly recommend it!  It's a fun spot to hang out, relax and get some "you" time.

  3. Well you're looking very Miami chic here! Love this neon dress and that dark lip.
Never been to a spa, but the spa did come to me once. At one of the clinics where I intern the program director brought in 2 masseuses as a holiday gift for us last year. It was SO nice. This place looks wonderful.
