Happy Thursday! Hope you are having a wonderful week so far! Jake and I took these pictures a few weeks ago on a rainy day adventure!  We have had a lot of rain lately, and it has been awesome!

When we go out on adventures we love to bring along a pair of Palladium Boots!  They are always the perfect pair of shoes to bring on any outing!  They are so comfy, grippy soles and have cool styles of boots for any occasion!  We are both wearing pairs from their new fall collection!  We love that each new season Palladium Boots comes out with neat styles for men and women!

How cute is this whale mosaic?  When we stayed at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, we saw this mural over by the Kidz Zone and knew we wanted to take pictures by it!  Jake and I love ocean life, so we loved the wall right away!

I got this crop top a few months ago, but it got cold quick where we live so I didn't get a chance to wear it yet!  I knew I wanted to bring it to Cabo since I knew it would be toasty out!  It happened to be super hot while we were in Cabo, so this tank crop top worked out perfect!

For some reason when we sat on this bench in the first picture, it brought to my mind when Forest Gump said, " Mama always said, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get."  I recently watched that movie and it brought back lots of fun memories. I used to watch the movie all the time when I was a kid.  Kind of a odd movie for a kid to like, but I loved it!

Jake and I wore these looks to church last week.  We love during fall time you can wear tweeds and wools.

I got this tweed blazer and pencil skirt from Adrianna Papell.  I always love shopping for dresses from them and was excited to see a fun dress suit set.  I am excited to wear this blazer with some jeans soon!

Jake got his double breasted pea coat from Banana Republic over 10 years ago, but its still been a staple coat for him over the years!  Can't go wrong with the classics!

Happy Friday! Whoop whoop!  Do you have any fun plans this weekend?!

I got this hot pink Kate Spade pom pom hat a few weeks ago and have been dying to wear it!  We went out for a fun little date night and I was cracking up when a gal at the cupcake store asked me, "Wow, your pink hat and lipstick match! Did you plan that?"

I was never a pink gal growing up.  I always loved orange and that was my favorite color.  In high school I started to like pink.  When my mom redid my room while I was still at home, we did sage green and blush pink.  Now I have gone all out pink mode and love any shade of pink, especially hot pink!

I recently discovered a super neat brand called ELAN where I got my poncho from!  Fall time I always want light layers that are warm and not bulky so if its freezing out I can wear a coat over them.   I immediately loved the brand because all the items were around $30-70 which I thought was a perfect price point!

Jake was looking for a leather jacket this season and found the perfect one from Bernardo Fashions.  He wore it when we went to Niagara Falls a few weeks ago and I knew how much I loved it because it was so soft and he looked so handsome it, so I was excited he wore it on date night!  Something about a soft cozy leather jacket is perfect to cozy up to on a cold fall night!

Todays post we are taking a break from autumn activities and sharing some more adventures from Cabo!  Its so neat how the weather can be so different all over the world!

When we were packing for Cabo, I quickly discovered that I didn't have any sundresses or swim suit coverups to wear to and from the pool and around the resort.  I wanted to find things that were comfy, easy to throw on, but still looked lovely so I could wear them at the restaurants for meals.  I was excited when I found a brand called Betro Simone at Nordstrom.  One thing I love about online shopping is you can always find brands that fit your needs.

Betro Simone had some lovely designs, so I ended up getting a few dresses from them to wear on our trip!  I loved how soft the fabrics were, and the neutral colors of fabrics.

Jake has been a big fan of Ted Baker this past year and loves buying clothes from them.  He is wearing a pull over shirt from them today.  He really loves how the brand has unique prints and awesome color combos!

Pumpkin Carving

Anyone else loving October!?! There is something so magical about fall time!  Jake and I knew we had a lot of things scheduled towards the end of October so we wanted to make sure we got our pumpkin carving in early so we didn't miss it!  Last year we missed out on carving pumpkins, so this year we wanted to make sure we got it in!

On Saturday it was rainy out, so it was the perfect day to carve our pumpkins!  We both picked out our big pumpkins from a local pumpkin farm.  I was so surprised at how heavy the big pumpkins were, even with all the insides scooped out!  We used giant medal spoons to scoop out the insides of the pumpkin, and I was so shocked how easy it was to get everything out!

I seem to do the same thing every year and carve BANG into a pumpkin.  Jake mixed it up this year and did a smiley face!  I thought he did such a great job and it turned out so cute!  We loved seeing our pumpkins at night time glowing with the candles in them.  I am always so amazed at how much light a little tee light gives off in the dark.  Pretty amazing to me.

When we woke up, saw the rain outside and decided to carve pumpkins we knew we wanted to wear some denim.  Something about denim seems screams pumpkin patch vibe!  I wore a Shabby Apple denim maxi dress, and Jake wore a Levi's denim vest.

PMD

As Jake and I have started getting older, we are realizing it is time for us to start investing in our skin care routine.  As of a few months ago, neither of us have had a great skin care routine so we have been trying out lots of new products to see which ones we like and would use on a regular basis. 

  

When PMD asked if we would be up for trying out their product, we were excited because we had heard some amazing things about it.  I have a few friends that regularly use PMD and rave about it, so I knew it was time for Jake and I to give it a whirl!

We excited to find out that PMD was a product that has a men's and women's version.  Most skin care products we have seen are geared towards women and it is nice to see a product for men as well.   

I have waited to write this review, so Jake and I could both try the product out for a month and see how we liked it.  Since neither Jake and I have a regular skin care routine, using the PMD was a little intimidating at first.  After watching the PMD how-to video, we realized how easy the product was to use.  It really is so simple and you just plug the device, hold your skin tight and move in upward motions.  The PMD exfoliates and removes dead skin cells to reveal your younger-looking, softer, rejuvenated skin.  It is a product you only use once a week, which made it super appealing to us!

The instructional video mentioned to try out the PMD on your arms, legs so you can get the hang of it.  We were glad we took the time to try out the device on our arms because at first some of the areas on your face can be a little hard to get the right angles.  The more times we used it, the easier and more efficient we got at using the PMD.  I'm sure if you use any device for your face already, you will find PMD easy to use and love it!

We have both enjoyed trying out the PMD and have noticed some positive results after using it once a week.  It is a product we could both see adding into our regular skin care routine.
