a Seven Peaks first!

Friday, July 29, 2011

Today I got my first experience ever of going to 7 Peaks! I have lived in Utah for quite some time and have never ventured to make it there! Well, my mother in law was awesome and took me there with Lydia and Mone! It was a great time!
After we picked up our tubes, we were ready to go on our first water slide! "Cave In" here we come!
I am not going to lie, this ride when you look at it does not look steep at all but when you go down it, it is!
                                                                          Peaks Pigeon
Mone and Lydia waiting to go down "Shot Gun."
Mom and I! She is so good to me!
For lunch we all got a yummy pizza, chips and a drink! Fresh lemonade was perfect on a hot day!
After we jumped in the wave pool for a good time!
It was a crowed day at the peaks, but surprisingly the lines were not bad at all!
Pictures under the water always turn out funny!
This straight down slide, I screamed and closed my eyes the whole time and ended up with the hugest wedgie, but it was all worth it! Next time I will have to open my eyes the whole time! Here is Lydia going down!
Mom going down the slide. She is so cute!
We were cracking up on the magic carpet ride that when you were about to take off how our buns were stuck in the air ready for push off! This is a fun slide! And not too much water sprayed in your face!
 Crossing the lily pads!
Time for the rope swing! Its harder than it looks!
That is some seriously awesome farmers tan..
 Lydia going in style!
Going on some more lily pads as we wait to go in the hot tub.
To finish the day we went  in the hot tubs! A great way to end it! Seven Peaks was a blast! It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be! It had great slides, good food, but most of all, the company was the best! Thanks mom, Mone and Lydia for a great time! I love you all!

Hi friends and family! Tomorrow, Saturday the 30th I am doing my first Farmers Market ever at the Provo Pioneer Park from 9am to 2pm! Come say hello because I would love to see a familiar face! I will have everything tomorrow from iPad cases, mini wallets, fabric notebooks, hand bound books, small bags, large bags, home decor pillows, hair accessories and more! Hope to see you! Also the Farmers Market has awesome food vendors! Come try some new food! Here are some pictures of some new bags I have enjoyed making.

Pioneer Day

Monday, July 25, 2011

Pioneer Day was great! It was so fun being in Salt Lake and getting to see what happens down there for the celebration! I was cracking up that my friend Ashley (in the hot pink dress) was on this float! I swear I see her every where in the most random places! Sadly, we had to drop off mom in the morning at the airport to go home :( But Jake and I still had most of the day to play with Aunt Robin! Here we are at The Days of 47 Parade. We got there a little late and missed waving to President Monson. Next time!
There were floats of all kinds! Floats to advertise things, floats by religions, school bands, old model cars, ext. I toke a million pictures of the floats because I thought they were so cool! I just thought so much work should not go unoticed!
I still can't get over how HUGE these horses are.
I thought the pipe band was awesome! I loved it! I wish I could join.
Many wards made floats! I thought that would be so fun! All of the floats were so neat, intricate and had the coolest things on them! I think there was a some sort of pioneer them that was at the parade, but I don't know what it was.
If you are wondering this cool man and I were wearing the same identical Levi cut off shorts. I saw him after the parade, and our short similarity bonded us. And his parrot was really cool to!
There were also a lot of patreodic things going on to! I loved it! I don't know why, but anything patridodic makes me cry. I guess it makes me realize how much I love America and am so grateful to live here.
I think each city in Utah has pageants or something?
These are the hugest donkeys of all time! So cool! You can sorta see a horse in front of the donkeys, and you can tell how HUGE they are. I would like a pet donkey like this ;)
Cutest live mermaid I have ever seen!
I was amazed at all the detail that went on to these floats! Rotating fish and water falls! AWESOME!
After at the park there was a party going on! All the floats circled the park, and you could go take close up looks at them!
This makes me want a puppy dog!
There were tons of things for kids to do to!
And a little farmers market!
Doesn't this look fun?
We even got some yummy food! Yummy street tacos! They were delicous!
And a Navajo Taco! Sadly then it was time to take Aunt Robin to the airport! Well, Jake and I had some time to kill before his brothers Cameron's Birthday Party so....we went to the movies! We wanted to read our books outside, but it looked like it was going to rain.
We saw Captain America! We both loved it! Of course there were some super cheesy parts, but thats what made it so good. In one part of the movie, a boy was kissing the wrong girl and a boy in the audience yelped out "NO!" We were all cracking up in the theater. It was a great addition to the movie! I would recommend it! I am getting super excited for the new Avenger movie to come out! After the movie, stay and watch all the credits, because after it has a trailer for the new Avenger movie coming out next summer!
Then we went to PF Changs for dinner! We got our all time favorite, Crap Wantons with the always delicious plum sauce, and Dan Dan Noodles! It was so good we scarfed it a llllll up! What a great meal! Then we headed over to Jakes parents house to celebrate Cameron's birthday! We got him the worlds smallest walkie talkies! They are so rad! I was so excited to give them to him!
Happy Happy 22nd Birthday Cameron!!! Cameron loves cheesecake, so thats what we had for cake! Happy Birthday Cameron we love you!
To top off the night my favorite family the Eppels were there visiting! They have the cutest kids ever! They taught us some fun games!
Here we all are having our first experience sucking out helium of a ballon! It was hilarious! Its funny getting ready to talk and then your voice sounds really high pitched. It was a great time! Here are some pictures of the fun times we had!
This is Cameron's cute friend Chelsea! It was fun to meet her!
This was a great day! A fun time in Salt Lake and a fun time at Cameron's birthday! After being out of town for a week, I am ready to get home and get things ready for Farmers Market this Saturday! I got to get my craft on!
