Girls Night out at the Beehive Bazaar!

This weekend is The Beehive Bazaar! Wahoo! This is actually my first time ever going! How have I lived in Utah for way to many years now...and have never been? If you live in Utah Valley come stop by! Its still going on all today, and all Saturday! I was fortunate to even get to set up my booth here :) Wahoo! I was so excited seeing so many new vendors and neat stuff at this Market! I would highly recommend going if you have a chance!

 After dinner we were walking around, and we saw Santa! That was for sure a highlight of the night! You can take pictures with him for free! It was a must!

 Next on our list was ICE CREAM!!!! We went and got a scoop over at the Provo Beach Resort!

It was such a lovely evening with the girls! We had so much fun shopping, eating and talking! I will make sure to add The Beehive Bazaar to my Christmas yearly to do list!

LEGO DINO - Triceratops Trapper (5885)

I got this set at Target for $49.99. I think that is the cheapest around to find it. Jake had really been wanting this set for the triceratops! The set was totally worth it! The truck/trapper is really big and has huge wheels! Jake put this set together pretty quick, but I think he was so excited to finish the set to see the dino, he was rushed through it. Its a neat set. All the dino ones are awesome! We even made a stop motion video with all the dino sets together! We need to finish it though. Its been over a year since we made it, so who knows when it will get done :)

he's crafty

Last week, Jake said, "Im going to make a TV attena." And guess what? He did! I was shocked that it even works to! haha. I didnt know it was possible to make your own TV attena. Well, I am happy to say, now I can watch The Bachelor January 7th! wahoo! I cant wait!

and it works! Now the attena is in the attic but we were testing it out here :) We got TV channels! Jake even got the computeres to act like a Tivo, and download shows if we are not home, and even take out the commercials! Jake surprises me all the time. I never realized how talented he is with electronics! Hes one crafty boy :)

Birthday Attack

Last week, my good freinds Alycia and Diana were so sweet and came and surprised me! They had already talked to Jake the week before and asked him to have me be home for when they came by to get me. Cute girls! Well, they came and picked me up and took me to a lovely Bombay House and Yogurtland dinner and dessert! OH YUM!

I got a new dish this time! It was a pineapple shrimp and oh my wow...amazing! My New favorite!

I feel so lucky to have made such good friends. Its so nice! They sure made me feel so special and loved for my bday!  We all always have so much fun together! We mainly laugh the entire time together which I love! Thanks girls for a great evening and making me feel so special! I had so much fun!

weekly update

What a week! I turned 25, it was Thanksgiving, Black Friday...just alot of fun stuff going on! Jake got me some video games for my bday, so I have been playing those a bit this week! That has been fun!

Thursday we got to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with Jakes family at his Aunt Christi's  It was great! We got to bring a fruit salad!

After Thanksgiving Dinner, and a movie, Jake and I headed to Walmart and Target and check out what was going on for Black Friday! We had fun!

Jakes parents were so sweet and gave us a mattress! Good thing I love bedding..I have lots of extra sets, so I picked one out, and up it on the guest bed! Now we need house guests! I am so excited  A bed makes an empty room look so much cozier!

Saturday, Jake and I went out to the pet stores to look for stuff for the turtles. On our adventure we stopped at In and Out for a burger and fries! Yum! It was a great week! Full of lots of sewing to! This week, Beehive Bazaar is coming up on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so I am getting ready for that! This will be my first time doing this market! I am excited its at the Riverwoods! Here is a flyer for it!

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving day was wonderful! Jakes super cute Aunt Christi and her family put on an amazing Thanksgiving for us all! It was an amazing dinner full of great foods and company! Thanks Aunt Christi and fam! Jake and I had a wonderful time! I feel so lucky we got to go to her home to share the day :)

All over the house were cute table settings for everyone to have a place to eat! It was a big party of 30 people for dinner!

I love Thanksgiving! Not only is a great time for family/friends and food, its a wonderful time to reflect, think and be grateful. I feel there are so many things in life to be grateful for, and its wonderful to have a holiday to help us keep focused on whats important in life.

I feel this year I have so much to be grateful for. I was thinking about all the things that has gone on this year, and I feel so blessed. Here are a couple things that stuck out to me to be extremely grateful for this time of year...jakes job, great family, my Savoir and His friendship, our cute home, healthy and strong body (I didn't tell many people but earlier this year I got diagnosed with a form of cancer. No worries, I dont have any! but that entire process was intense), grateful to be LDS and know about the Plan of Happiness (my grandma died this year, and my dads best friend.. so glad to know I will see them again someday) grateful our turtles are starting to get along, grateful for the friends I have been able to make this year, new fresh start in a new home, sewing machine that works, beautiful outdoors and pretty mountains, fall time, warm coats, telephones to call home, fun tv shows, oreos, tuna, smiles and so much more!

I feel life is so wonderful and there is so much to enjoy! What a great thanksgiving!

Happy Black Friday!

25 never felt so good!

Monday I turned 25! I completely forgot it was even my bday, from life just being so busy and crazy lately! None the less, it was an amazing bday! Jakes mom was so sweet and wanted to make it extra special for me and she did! The day started off with Jake waking me up with a basket full of goodies wrapped in Winnie the Pooh wrapping paper he picked out all by himself. Cute boy! I got some movies, new 3DS gameboy games (LEGO Lord of the Rings and Adventure Time) and beautiful stainless steal extra large LG washer and Dryer. Sweet boy.

In the afternoon, Jakes mom came over and took me to lunch! How cute is she? I loved the ballons she got me! I had so much spending the afternoon with her! I felt so spoiled and loved!

We went to Gurus for lunch! I got fish tacos. They may be my new favorite food item there!

After we went to The Chocolate and got cookies, and mom Harris got me a super cute bday cake!

My Aunt LeeAnn and Uncle Steve came to visit! They were in town from NY so it was great to see them! I was so excited to show them our new home and say hello to them!

In the evening, Jake took me to Bombay House for dinner! Oh sooo yummy!

I even got bday ice cream! After we were going to go to the movies, but I wanted to be a bum and come home and watch TV and wear PJs. It was so much fun!  We stayed up till 2am watching TV. I love fun/ relaxing nights like that! It was a perfect bday!

Jakes parents are so cute! They got me the cutest Anthro hat I really wanted and my favorite treats!

The night ended with a super yummy cake, and lots of phone calls from my family and friends  It was super fun to talk to all of them and catch up! PS. The cake was delicious!!!! Thanks everyone for all the bday wishes, and all the love! It was an amazing 25th birthday!
