checkers and chiffon

 
Last week I got to go to SNAP! Oh my...I had a blast! (pictures from SNAP coming soon :) It was a blogging conference of mostly DIY blogger!  I loved being able to socialize, make new friends, and learn some new things about the blogging industry! I feel I left having a clear view of what I want to do with my blog, my store, ext. One evening at the conference was Queen Bee Market and Jake was so amazing and helped me set up my booth, and stay the entire time and man the booth. He is the best! I loved having him there. Its still a bit chilly outside, so it is making me want to wear frumpy clothes. Something about being cold and cozy go together well for me :)  This sweater, I got a few years ago in Belgium, and is still one of my favorite go to cozy wear items.

Here is Jake and I at my booth before the Queen Bee Market Started! Normally most markets I do are central check out, and this one was individual check out. I was loving seeing Jake be so helpful and creative with customers/friends. He was cracking me up! I saw a whole new, outgoing Jake that night and loved it! I also got to meet the owner of Riley Blake this night, and she even got one of my little stuffed animals! Riley Blake has had some of my all time favorite fabric patterns I have used for quilts and random projects! It was such a highlight for me meeting her :)
