I am so excited for Thanksgiving but I am even MORE excited for Christmas! I don't know about you guys, but I have been dying to put up the Christmas decorations! I feel once October hits, the months fly by and the holidays zip by even faster! I feel we never get to enjoy holiday decor as long as I want to, but I guess that's a good thing so you don't get so tired of the decorations..right? :)
Jake and I had so much fun decorating the house! Wahoo! Putting on the tree ornaments are my favorite! I have always been a fan of handmade items and animals, so our tree is an all handmade animal tree :)   We have collected ornaments over our Christmases together and have so much fun finding new ornaments every year. This is our 3rd married Christmas together. We got this tree for our first Christmas in our small basement apartment. Now we have room for a big tree, but I love our little tree so much, I am not sure if I am ready to switch to a big tree yet.  Some day, I know we can put this tree in the entry way, or in a corner of a room, but for now, I like it as our only Christmas tree.

After we put ornaments on the tree, Jake and I drank some egg nog, turned off the lights, watched the fire and Christmas tree lights glow. It was a perfect evening. Can't wait to do more fun nights like this snuggled up to the fire and reading a book.

Also, we picked up a fresh wreath at Costco and the pine smells so amazing! I love the smell of fresh pine!

All the ornaments on our tree are from Anthropologie, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, and Target :) They have the funnest ornaments every year!

Also, I made these stockings a few years ago. If you want to make your own you can check out a tutorial HERE :)
