Happy Monday! Hope you all had a fantastic week! Jake and I had his family, cousins, aunts, uncles over for a big Christmas brunch on Saturday morning and had so much fun! We loved preparing for the party and having everyone over! Between prepping for a party and getting ready to leave for a trip, we knew we wanted something that would be easy to whip up for dinner that night! Its been years since I have had a pot pie, so when we were at Walmart grocery shopping for the party food and were in the frozen food isle, we decided to pick up some Marie Callenders individual size pot pies to eat for our quick and easy meal!
Jake got the Marie Callenders turkey pot pie, and I got the beef! We loved the warm flaky crust and how easy the meal was to make! We are such dessert people we thought it would be fun to make some cookie dough brownies to go with our meal! The brownies are super easy and fun to make! They are a great dessert to make ahead of time since they store really well! I like to eat mine straight out of the fridge since the chocolate top is nice and chilled! The cookie dough brownies are perfect for left overs too! Just put the left overs on a plastic plate, put inside a gallon bag and freeze! Then you can pull them out the next time you want a quick and easy dessert to go with your meal!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a great week!
