This week, Jake and I had some serious holiday plans. Well, sadly we both got sick. Jake not so sick as I though, he was still ok to go to work. I was in bed all week with the worst flu ever. I was so sad, because we both felt to sick to go out and do any of the fun holiday plans we had. We even got stuff to make gingerbread houses, and have not felt well to do anything:( One night, I was so tired of being in the house, we decided to go to
Thanksgiving Point to at least say hi to the Reindeer and drive through the lights. We thought, with driving through the lights, we could stay in the car and not get to cold. I was sad though, because I really wanted to do the horse trolly through the lights. I guess next year :)
Over by the water tower there were ice sculptures! There was a sign that said they had ice demos every day to. That sound like something I would like to check out next year to!

Next we hopped back in our car to drive through the lights! It reminded me when Jake and I got to do this last year at
Valley of the Lights by our cabin with my mom (and its free in AZ to :). Oh how holidays are amazing there! Thanksgiving Points Holiday Lights were great too though! A good filler for not being in AZ right now.

After a fun time at the lights, Jake and I went to go see the Hobbit! We still had some energy, so we thought we would see a late night movie. Wow, we both LOVED the movie! We had heard such mixed reviews on the movie I was surprised at how much we liked it! I heard the movie lags on and is long, but I dont think that at all! They just played out any scene from the book, big time, and it was amazing! I bit off all my nails in suspense. (I never bite my nails.) We want to go see the movie again Hopefully soon!
