On New Years eve, Jake and I went to see the
Zoo Lights and LOVED them! After, we had some time to kill before our pizza was ready from The Pie, so we went to go check out the Utah State Capital. I didn't realize how big the Capital was. I have seen it many times driving by, but never realized it was huge sitting up on the hill! Jake and I had fun walking around the grounds and checking out the inside of the building. It was lovely! I had no idea that Utah had such a neat and intricate building! I made me feel like I was back in DC. When we were walking around the grounds, we saw a boy proposing to a girl. That was pretty exciting! It sounded like she said yes :) You can see them smooching in the top right corner of the top picture. hehe
It was really cold outside. 9 degrees......
