When my mom said she wanted to come visit us for Jakes Birthday, we were both so ecstatic! We could not wait! Jake and I were counting down the days till mom came to visit! When mom was her, we partied so much! It was so much fun! We also ate a ton! Here are some of our food pics :)
Kneaders Bakery: turkey bacon avocado on foccasia bread sandwich! My Fav! We also got an Orange Citrus Salad and that was really good!Indian food at Bombay House. We got Chicken Biryani with Raita, Shrimp Coconut Kurma, and some Garlic Naan! Ohhh yum!
One afternoon my mom and I went to the Mount Timpanogas Temple. That was really fun, and a fun morning activity to do with my mom! After we were starving and went to Gurus for lunch!
At Gurus, we got the amazing Sweet Potato Fries, Marco Polo Pasta and a Chicken Cilantro Lime Quesadilla, YUM!
Noodles and Company! Mom and I got the Japanese Pan Noodles (best dish in the world) and the Indonesian Peanut Saute. After a fun dinner, Jake came and met up with us and we went to the movies and saw The Impossible. We all cried and ate popcorn.
The next afternoon, we had an awesome lunch at Asian Star, and wow it was delicious. The service was great, way fast and grade A quality food! It was so yummy! We got 5 dishes there and ate them family style!
We ate at Asian Star with my awesome cousin Lana, Aunt Loraine, Uncle John, my mom, Uncle Bick and Aunt Donna! It was such a fun time! We all had a blast we literally stayed for hours talking and enjoying each others company! I keep forgetting I have family close by on my side, and how I really enjoy spending time with them! I need to start hanging out with them all more often! After lunch, my mom and I went to Tai Pan, then came home and picked up Jake.
We headed to the Riverwoods for dinner! There was an ice sculpture left from a "Fire and Ice" event they had there and it was a cute penguin! I was so glad we got to see him!
For dinner we went to Happy Sumo! OOOOH Yum! My favorite! We got Ahi Seared Tuna for an appetizer, a Sweet Pea, Vegas and Firecracker Roll to share for dinner! It was so amazing! We also had the cutest server! She was so sweet and our waters were always full!
On my moms last night here, we had some more cousins over! It was so much fun! We ate chicken tortilla soup for dinner, and lots of treats for dessert! I fell in love with little Brooklyn! We had a bit of fun playing together ;) She even shared her socks with me!
