AMAZING! WOW! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I just say Jake and I had the most amazing time at the circus! We got to go to the last show Monday night! I wish the circus was in town longer, I would of went again! The entire show, Jake and I were both on the edge of our seats! Each act was over the top fantastic! The animals and performers were so impressive! Every person in the show had amazing skills! They even had a live band playing all the music with super cool light features! Everything was wonderful! We now have to go the circus every year now, this was sooooo good! I am bummed I didnt get great pictures! I just didnt want to miss anything..and my camera on my phone=not good...soo this is what I got to remember the night :)
Before the show started, there was a meet and greet! This was so fun!
You got to see cute puppy dogs doing tricks! Oh my gosh I want a dog even more now!!!!! They were so cute and well behaved!
Fun clown acts!
And got to see some elephants up close and personal!
Playing toss the stick
Painting pictures!
Bye bye cute elephant!

Wow! Look at all these amazing performers! I want to be in the circus!
Check it out! There are 8 motorcyclists in this ball! So cool! Wow, these pictures do not do any of the amazing show justice. It was so awesome! They had amazing acts, cutest animals, lion whisper :), elephants, trapeze, tightrope, horse trots, dragons, martial arts, hair spinning, dancers, it was so cool! Cant wait to go again next year!

September 25! Whoa I cant tell you how excited I was today when I pulled up to the house and saw doors in the garage! The little ones are so cute to for little linen closets! I LOVE them! I cant wait to see them in the house! It will be weird to see doors! I kind of like the open feel with no doors, but that would be weird huh if we had no doors inside the house? haha
I was even more surprised when I walked in the house and saw the walls were textured! Oh I cant wait to see them painted!!!

granite counter tops
Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Granite counter tops were a hard one for Jake and I. We both wanted a pure white with lots of character and gray in it. Let me tell you...for a good price it is hard to find. This is one thing we didn't mind spending more money on...if we had it :) hahah and we dont. So we settled. But I am happy with what we picked out. We got just a regular granite called "kashmir white."
Here is a picture of what the stone looks like. It alot more tan than we wanted, but I think with the white cabinets it will hopefully bring out the more white in the stone.
This is not what our kitchen will look like, but its white cabinets with the "kashmir white" granite so I hope ours looks like a cool gray like this :)
So there is some new trends happening on granite. I think people are getting tired of the polished granite...which I agree, I like a shine, but not always. So there is something called "leather" or "velvet." It can also be called weathered, textured...lots of names, but all the same effect. I really wanted to get the leather finish, but it was $15.00 extra per square foot of granite...so maybe another house someday :) Can I tell you how amazing this effect feels? Its so soft and smooth, and I feel I could spill stuff all over the counter, and just wipe it clean. I think for places like Utah with hard water, this leather feel could be amazing. It doesn't seem like it would leave lots of water marks.
Jake and I had fun picking out granite. It was completely different than I though it would be. You get to go to this cool warehouse with lots of samples you can take home, and HUGE slabs of granite for sale. I could sit and look at them all day! Some of them had the most amazing, beautiful patterns in the stones. I would want a huge slab hanging on my wall for art.
